The Caravan of Health Services rolled out another impactful initiative, reaching communities with much-needed care and support. As part of our ongoing commitment to promote oral health, we distributed dental kits to children and families—simple yet essential tools to encourage healthy daily habits and hygiene awareness. This small act of service is a step toward preventing common dental issues and empowering families to take charge of their own well-being.

Alongside the kit distribution, we conducted fluoride application sessions, offering extra protection for young smiles. Through this outreach, we bring the message that good oral health is a vital part of overall wellness. Together, let's continue creating healthier, more resilient communities—one smile at a time.

PDA CEBU CHAPTER, INC. JOINS THE WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY!

The PDA Cebu Chapter Inc. is proud to have been a partner in the successful World Blood Donor Day Mobile Blood Donation Drive held last June 20–21 at Ayala Central Bloc, Cebu City.

Together with our dedicated donors, various medical partners, and volunteers, we were able to contribute to a meaningful cause — collecting units of blood that will go on to save countless Filipino lives. Such act of generosity and willingness to give is truly inspiring!

This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment not only to dental health but also to community care and social responsibility.

EMPOWERING COMMUNITY CARE AND PARTNERSHIPS!

On June 17, 2025, PDA Cebu Chapter, Inc proudly launched a 90- to 120-day community-based public health project in Brgy. Oguis, Danao City. This long-term initiative is part of our commitment to bring sustainable oral health solutions closer to the grassroots level—where it matters most.

Through collaborative efforts with local leaders and stakeholders, this project will focus on oral health education, preventive care, and continuous engagement with families in the barangay. Over the next few months, we aim to build not just healthier smiles, but stronger health habits that will last beyond our presence.

This initiative is a testament to what can be achieved when passion for service meets people-centered action!

STRONGER PARTNERSHIPS FOR A HEALTHIER TOMORROW!

June 16, 2025. A meaningful Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between PDA CEBU CHAPTER, INC and the Subnational Blood Center for the Visayas, in the presence of DOH Assistant Regional Director Dr. Sophia Mancao. This collaboration marks a significant step in strengthening our shared commitment to public health and community service.

The partnership underscores the vital role dental professionals can play in promoting voluntary blood donation and supporting life-saving initiatives beyond the clinic. With the guidance and support of DOH Region 7, this MOA paves the way for joint activities that encourage awareness, participation, and advocacy for safe and regular blood donation.

Alongside the Department of Health and the Subnational Blood Center in this endeavor, we are excited to be part of a cause that truly saves lives.

Today marks an important milestone for the organization as it launches its new official page. With it is a brief feature on how the officers had their term’s first day.

SMILES, SYNERGY AND A SHARED SENSE OF PURPOSE!


Last May 31, 2025, the newly elected officers of PDA Cebu Chapter Inc. officially began their term with a meaningful team building and planning session at Mezzo Hotel, Kasambagan, Cebu City. It was facilitated by no other than, Ms. Georgette Z. Ygoña, RSW.

This activity was more than just bonding—it was a conscious step toward building a stronger, more unified team ready to take on the responsibilities of leadership. Through collaborative exercises and strategic planning, the officers aligned their goals, clarified their vision, and laid the groundwork for a year of service, innovation, and professional growth.

Here’s to a committed leadership team grounded in trust, teamwork, and a shared passion for uplifting the dental community!
