The Cebu Muslim Youth, in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente - University of the Visayas Chapter, National Commission On Muslim Filipinos - Visayas Region, Cebu City Local Youth Development Council, and the Cebu City Government, invites everyone to our upcoming seminar Halal and Beyond: Understanding the Muslim Way of Life on October 3, 2026, Saturday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the 4th Floor Social Hall, Cebu City Hall.

This initiative aims to address common misconceptions about Islam and Muslim culture, provide a better understanding of our beliefs and traditions, and encourage meaningful conversations within the community.

Through education and open dialogue, we hope to promote respect, cultural understanding, inclusivity, and harmony, while helping prevent discrimination and stereotypes against Muslims. Let us learn from one another, understand our differences, and celebrate what brings us together.

Together, let’s build a community where understanding is stronger than misconceptions, unity is fostered, and everyone is treated with respect.

The Cebu Muslim Youth is organizing Project Padayon a relief operation to provide essential school supplies to some elementary students affected by the recent fire in Barangay Mambaling.

Through this initiative, we hope to help ease some of the challenges these young learners are facing and remind them that they are not alone. Every contribution, no matter how small, can help them continue their education and move forward with hope.

The Cebu Muslim Youth successfully conducted Green Ummah: One Ummah, One Earth and planted 350 assorted tree saplings at the South Road Properties (SRP) on September 20, 2026.

This meaningful initiative would not have been possible without the support and assistance of the Cebu City ENRO l Cebu City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CCENRO) and the Cebu City Government.

Every tree we plant is a small step toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. We hope this initiative inspires more people, especially the youth, to take action and become part of the solution to the environmental challenges our world faces today.

Let’s continue planting, caring, and growing for a better tomorrow.
