The PCCBI Cebu Chapter was honored to participate in the OPASCOR 36th Anniversary Pickleball Tournament alongside OPASCOR team, the BOC–Port of Cebu, and the Association of International Shipping Lines (AISL). The event provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendships, foster partnerships, and promote camaraderie among stakeholders within the Customs, Shipping, and Logistics community.

The Bureau of Customs PH and the Philippine Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. agreed to review Customs Administrative Order 01-2001, which sets legal brokerage fee rates based on shipment dutiable value.

Under CAO 01-2001, the exact professional service fees per entry are computed based on the dutiable value of the shipment, a tiered structure that has remained largely unchanged since its issuance more than two decades ago, even as trade volumes, digital systems, and the complexity of customs transactions have evolved significantly.
