We got a report about a collapsed dog near Red Cross. The report came in at 9 and we got there just after 2 PM. She was still alive. We would love to raise funds for her costs and any help would be appreciated. The shelter's GCash/Maya is 09944840261. Thank you so much.

Seeing something like this online is one thing, but seeing it in person is a different kind of heartbreak. These dogs may have owners or someone who cares for them.

I heard one of the men taking the animals say (in Bisaya), “If it is your dog, we only ask that you keep them tied. If they are not tied, even if it is your dog, we will take them.” Just because they are not tied doesn’t mean they don’t belong to someone. Is the only way to care for a pet to keep them caged or tied?

I hope the city ensures that all animals are handled humanely and with proper care.

EDIT: This video was taken in Talisay, Cebu near Poblacion Liberation Park.
