MAGKAKAIBA TALAGA NG DESTINY BAWAT ISA SATIN, MULA NUNG NASA BAYAG PA LANG TAYO NAKAPLANO NA NI LORD YAN, HIS WILL BE DONE...🙏🙏
This three-month-old baby was found abandoned with a note from her mother, who asked for her daughter to “live”.
The child was found at Enrique Villanueva town in Siquijor in the wee hours of Tuesday morning by Meralyn Sagayno Vega, who posted photos on Facebook.
“Tinapon sa likod ng aming bahay ngayong 3:59 am,” she wrote in Bisaya.
Vega said the child was alive and was abandoned inside a cardboard box. She also found a note left with the baby indicating the mother was unable to take care of her.
In the note found with the infant, the mother was desperate and admitted she could not take care of the baby, among many other reasons, and the child’s father left them before she was born.
“Maam/Sir.
As she pleaded for someone to help her daughter, Kathleen, born on November 3, 2021, the mother asked for her daughter’s forgiveness.
Maraming salamat,” she penned.
After being discovered, the infant was transported to a local center at Talingting town in Siquijor and was said to be in good health, according to officials.
“There were people who gave milk, diaper, and clothes,” said Neerol, one of the officials at the Talingting Center. “Dami nag line up pero hinahanap pa muna ang mama niya.”
