ACTIVE SHOOTER INCIDENT: KNOW WHAT TO DO. SAVE LIVES.

In an active shooter incident, every second matters. Staying calm, being aware of your surroundings, and knowing how to respond can make a difference.

RUN โ€” If there is a safe escape route, leave immediately. Leave your belongings behind and help others if you can.

HIDE โ€” If you cannot escape, find a secure location. Lock or block the door, turn off the lights, silence your phone, and stay out of sight.

FIGHT โ€” As a last resort, and only when your life is in imminent danger, take action to protect yourself and others.

๐Ÿ“ž CALL 911 when you are in a safe position to do so. Provide clear information about your location and the situation.

Be aware. Be prepared. Stay Alive.
A safe community is our shared responsibility. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

GATHER UP, COMMANDOS!

Every journey toward becoming a future law enforcement professional begins with dedication, integrity, and the courage to make a difference. As I embark on another academic year, I am proud to stand alongside my fellow Criminology students who are committed to learning, serving, and upholding justice.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThis year, may we continue to strengthen our knowledge, sharpen our skills, and build lasting friendships as we prepare ourselves for the responsibilities that await us in the future.
