Update sa pusang nakanganak sa kalsada.

Apat ang mga kuting niya at lahat ay mahihina.
Ito ay dahil sa hirap na dinanas nila kahapon.

Magkakahiwalay sila ng lugar, hindi matiyak ni ate Em kung gumapang sila o nasipa ng mga taong dumadaan. Dahil may dugo ang katawan, nabalutan sila ng lupa at ang iba ay may langgam na.

May unusual behavior si Mama Cat na minomonitor namin mula kahapon. Nag stay sila sa isolation area. SOP ito sa lahat ng bagong rescue.

May aggression si Mama Cat, which is normal naman. Ayaw niya magpadede ng mga anak niya. Kapag inilalapit sa kanya, kinakagat niya. Wala siyang interes sa kahit anong ialok sa kanya.

Pagkalinis namin sa mga kuting, kami na ang nagbigay ng milk. Mabuti at may kitten milk pa kami na naitabi.

Mahirap mag alaga ng neonatals. It requires patience and full time na pag aalaga. Mas mahirap kapag ganitong mahihina. Hindi pwedeng hindi batayan. Mabilis sila magfade.

Sa location kanina kung saan narescue ang Mama Cat. Walang nakakakilala sa kanya. May mga strays sa area, pero somehow kilala nung mga vendors doon dahil napapakain nila.

Iniisip namin at patuloy naming inaanalize ang nangyari sa hayop kapag may ganito kaming bagong rescue. Mahalaga kasi na maunawaan namin ang pinagdadaanan nito upang sa ganon ay malaman namin kung paano ito matutulungan.

Kaya ang “rescue” ay hindi lang pag dampot sa hayop, iuuwi, papakainin, bibigyan ng tirahan.. tapos ok na.

Higit pa doon ang tulong na kailangan. May mga rescue na nasa loob ang sugat. Kailangan mong hanapin ang sakit para magamot. Pero minsan kahit gamutin, hindi ito naghihilom.

Hinala namin ay iniwan o naligaw lang doon si Mama Cat sa area, kaya sa sobrang stress at gutom ay napa anak siya ng maaga. Hindi siguro maprocess ng isip niya ang lahat ng mga nangyari kaya hanggang ngayon ay tulala lang siya.

Anu’t anuman, ang mahalaga ay safe na sila. We named the Mama Cat, Kai. Sabi namin sa kanya, its ok kung galit siya, basta kumain lang siya. Kami na din bahala sa mga anak niya, wag na siya matakot o mag alala.

Pinahahalagahan natin ang lahat ng buhay. Kaya kahit 1 pusa lang yan, kahit malayo pa, kahit mahirap, sinisikap natin (sa abot ng makakaya) na marescue agad. Salamat sa mga nagpa abot ng tulong para sa rescue ng magiinang ito.

Maraming tao ang nakapalibot, nakatingin lang.
Ang iba parang nandidiri pa.

Yung pusa nakatingin lang sa mga anak niya. May umaagos pang dugo sa kanya. Malalim ang paghinga. Halo halo na siguro yung pakiramdam.. pagod, gutom, pangamba. Maingay kasi ang lugar, matindi ang init, at nakaka stress dahil tabing main road lang.

Dumadami ang mga taong nakatingin, may nagvideo pa. May naguusap tungkol sa rabies, delikado daw, meron ang gusto itawag na sa pound.

Sa ilang oras na lumipas, wala man lang nakaisip kahit sa kahon ilagay ang pusa at mga anak niya. Wala man lang nagmalasakit magbigay kahit tubig man lang.

Parang sanay na ang pusa na walang pake-alam ang mga tao. Siguro tanggap na niyang kalaunan ay mamamatay lang din siya at mga anak niya.

Ang saklap ng buhay ng mga strays😔 Pero hindi lang yung paghihirap nila ang masakit isipin, kundi yung kawalang puso ng mga tao.

PB hasn’t been eating for the past days😔

6 years ago, we rescued her and now she’s back at the clinic, this time needing dental surgery.

Given our current situation, we considered delaying her treatment, but we’re deeply worried, because she’s a senior dog now, and it could affect her kidneys and cause her condition to decline further.

We are still short of ₱13,000 to cover her medical expenses. At the same time, another one of our rescued dogs, Teriyaki is also at the clinic due to an infected wound on his tail.

🆘Emergency Rescue🆘

A stray cat is giving birth right outside an establishment along the highway in Dasmariñas, Cavite. It’s past 2PM, the heat is unbearable. People are just passing by, no one is stopping to help.

The mother cat is still in active labor. She is in severe distress, panting heavily. One kitten is already lying on the pavement, in blood, not sure if still alive.. while another is stuck, partially out from her body.

Right now, all of us are tied up. We’re currently at MAHC as PB is about to undergo surgery. But we are doing everything we can to arrange transportation and coordinate an immediate rescue.

We’re praying it’s not too late for them.

If each one of them could speak, they would all have a story to tell.. about life on the streets, the people they once trusted, and the pain they endured.

Most of those stories aren’t easy to hear. And for many of them, the past doesn’t simply fade away, it stays, showing up in their fears, their behavior, and the way they struggle to trust again.

That’s why rescue doesn’t end the moment an animal is taken in. It goes far beyond giving them shelter or food.

From the day they are rescued, it becomes a daily commitment, consistent care, medical treatment for whatever they’re carrying, patience in helping them unlearn survival habits, and gentle guidance as they begin to understand safety, love, and routine.

Rescuing an animal is not a one-time act of kindness. It’s a long journey of healing, for them and for those who choose to stand by them every single day.

And this journey is not something we can sustain alone. Your support helps us continue giving them the life they deserve.

They genuinely love fixing and improving the enclosures for our rescues. Seeing these animals finally experience a life where they are full, safe, and at peace brings them so much joy.

🚨 PB Needs Emergency Help 🚨

PLEASE READ HER STORY.

These are PB’s before-and-after photos. We rescued her in April 2020, during the pandemic, just before the 8 PM curfew. Her name comes from Padre Burgos Avenue in Cavite City, where we found her.

We recently brought her to the vet for a check-up. She now weighs 22 kilos even with regular walks and a picky, limited diet and her blood tests thankfully came back normal.

However, her teeth are severely damaged and causing bad breath, likely from years of scavenging food when she was still living on the streets. She needs this surgery to finally live comfortably and pain-free.

Before rescuing her, I had been feeding her while doing rounds for other strays, at a time when few people could go out and help. I remember seeing her eat garbage just to survive. Locals said she had been wandering for a long time, and in that moment, I knew I had to take her home.

She was in terrible condition- severe mange, a fever, and weighing only 9 kilos. The rescue itself was a race against time. The pet shop was closing, I rushed to get a leash, and we ended up walking all the way home because she was too scared to ride, trying to beat curfew.

Her recovery took months of vet visits, treatment, and patience. With love, care, and the support of kind लोगों like you, PB slowly transformed into the happy, healthy dog she is today. She’s fully vaccinated, spayed, and deeply loved.

She was also featured on Bored Panda- one of our proudest moments. ✨🐾🐕

This April 24 marks six years with PB. We’ve seen her go from surviving on the streets to truly living and now, SHE NEEDS OUR HELP AGAIN.
