Our rescues should never pay the price of hate.

Hindi po kami “unli rescue.”

Bawat rescue ay dumadaan sa assessment at pinag-uusapan muna namin bilang pamilya. Hindi kami nagre-rescue para sa donations.

At kahit gaano kasakit, may mga pagkakataong kailangan naming tumanggi dahil ang tunay na pagmamahal ay hindi lang ang pagsagip. Ito rin ay ang pagtiyak na kaya naming alagaan sila habambuhay.

Habang araw-araw naming ginagawa ang lahat para maalagaan ang daan-daang rescues namin, may ilan pa ring nagtatago sa dummy accounts para magpakalat ng maling paratang, hate, at pagdududa tungkol sa amin, kung ano ang ginagawa namin at kung saan napupunta ang donations.

Sa mga bago naming followers, please take the time to know us before believing everything you hear. Mag-background check po kayo. Tingnan niyo ang trabaho namin, ang mga rescues, at ang transformations nila.

Hindi po kami basta umaasa sa donations. May stable jobs kami, plant yard, fundraisings, at iba’t ibang sidelines. Kami rin mismo ay gumagastos at gumagawa ng paraan para sa shelter.

Alam naming lahat ay may kanya-kanyang struggles. Hindi po kami namimilit ng donations. Humihingi lang kami ng tulong kapag hindi na namin kayang saluhin mag-isa ang bigat ng pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan ng daan-daang hayop.

At para sa mga nagtatanong kung bakit malaki ang expenses namin: Buhay po ang mga rescues namin.

Kumakain sila araw-araw. May medical needs, supplies, shelter, staff, at iba pang pangangailangan. With or without donations, never po silang nagutom. Walang araw na pinabayaan namin silang walang pagkain dahil walang donation.

Kapag kulang, kami ang naghahanap ng paraan. Kami ang nag-aabono, nagsasakripisyo, nagtatrabaho at naghahanap ng ibang pagkakakitaan.

Normal po ang magtanong, at open kami sa questions. Pero sana po, huwag tayong manghusga base sa mga bagay na hindi natin personally alam o nabe-verify.

Please do not compare us to other shelters. Magkakaiba ang bilang ng rescues, medical cases, expenses, staff, at pangangailangan ng bawat shelter.

Hindi po negosyo ang mga rescues namin. Hindi sila source of profit. Responsibilidad po namin sila.

Ngayong buwan, muli kaming nawalan ng sponsors at followers, at hanggang ngayon ay kailangan pa rin naming makahanap ng around ₱280,000 para sa September shelter expenses at supplies na kailangang i-restock.

Malaking halaga po ito. Alam namin. Pero sa likod ng halagang ito ay daan-daang buhay na umaasa sa amin.

Kung hindi man kayo makakatulong financially, sana po ay huwag na nating dagdagan ang bigat sa pamamagitan ng pagpapakalat ng mga bagay na hindi naman natin alam kung totoo.

A little update from us 💚

We’ve been sharing what we do for our rescues throughout the day, and behind every post, there are also countless things happening behind the scenes. From preparing their food, attending to their needs, cleaning, coordinating supplies, handling shelter concerns, and making sure everyone is okay, our days can get really busy.

We sincerely apologize if there are times when we are unable to reply to your messages or send acknowledgements right away. 🙏🏻

At the moment, me (Mimi) is the only one handling and answering all of our messages, while also trying to finish some of our own work responsibilities so we can maintain a good performance this week. It can be quite challenging to balance everything at once, but we are doing our best to keep up.

Please know that we see your messages, your kindness, your offers to help, and your support. We may not always be able to respond immediately, but we truly appreciate every single one.

Update on the kitten found in a garbage bin (Laguna)

The kitten has been rescued already.
Huge thanks to our friend Ms. Nea who, despite the situation and the kitten’s condition, immediately went to the location after we coordinated with her.

It was already noon time, the sun was extremely hot, and the kitten was still inside the garbage bin, hiding behind the piles of garbage bags.

The bin was full of worms, and the smell was unbearable. The little one was terrified, starving, and crying for help.

Ms. Nea had to use towels to safely get the kitten because it was very scared and fighting back.

Upon checking, we found out that the kitten was covered with maggots and fleas. Its eyes were crusted, it had nasal discharge, and it was clearly sick.

What worries us more is that the kitten is also suffering from diarrhea, possibly from exposure to bacteria and eating whatever food it could find in that condition.

The kitten is estimated to be around 8 weeks old (about 2 months). We suspect that it was intentionally dumped there. If no one found and rescued it in time, it might not have survived another day.

We are humbly asking for your support🙏🏻

We also need to purchase RC milk and provide the immediate care and medical attention this little one needs.

May dalawang araw nalang po kami😔

We’ve been holding off on making another appeal because we know how often we’ve had to ask for help. But today, we have no choice but to be honest about where we are.

Sa ngayon po, talagang sabay-sabay ang mga kailangang habulin. Our supplies are running low, bills are piling up, and we only have 2 days left before September ends. At the same time, we were asked by the owner if we could settle our payments earlier instead of waiting until the due dates.

We’ve been stretching every peso, trying to make sure that the rescues continue to have what they need. But with 350+ animals depending on us every single day, there are moments when our own efforts are simply not enough.

These are the expenses we urgently need to cover:

₱50,000 – Rent-to-own payment
₱30,000 – Farm rent
₱15,000 – Meralco bill
₱4,739 – Water bill

₱38,615 – Remaining balance for 4 weeks of meat supply for the dogs
₱25,000 – 25 sacks of rice
₱100,000 – 60 boxes of wet food for the cats
₱30,000 – Cleaning and medical supplies

Total: ₱293,354

We know that seeing a total like this can be overwhelming, and we know there may be questions about why our monthly expenses are this high. We completely understand.

But this is the reality of caring for more than 350 rescued animals. Food alone is a constant expense. Then there are medicines, veterinary needs, cleaning supplies, utilities, rent, and the countless other things required to keep a shelter running.

Hindi po namin ginusto na umabot sa ganitong kalaki ang kailangan namin. We simply have hundreds of lives relying on us every day.

At the end of the day, these are not just expenses on a list. They are meals waiting to be served, medicines that need to be given, clean spaces that need to be maintained, and a safe place that our rescued animals call home.

We will continue doing everything we can on our end. Pero sa pagkakataong ito, kailangan po talaga namin ng kasama.

Please help us get through the remaining days of September. We are tired, but we are not giving up on them. 🙏🏻

Ang tawag po sa color pattern ni Filomel ay brindle, hindi ‘witch dog’. Ito ay parang tortoiseshell sa cats. Hindi po ito lahi kundi dahil sa complex genes.

Sa mga nagtatanong ng breed ni Fil, wala pong makakapagsabi o nakaka alam dahil siya ay rescued. Natagpuan siya noon dying sa kalye sa may Alabang.

Unless may record ng bloodline, hindi made-determine kung ang isang kakulay o kahawig ng mga ‘witch dogs’ o ‘asong gubat’ ay kalahi nga nila.

Lahat ng hayop, regardless of breed ay mahalaga ang buhay at dapat mahalin💚

This kitten was posted in a group page this morning.
She was found crying inside a garbage bin in Laguna.

The person who found it was already at work and couldn’t go back to contain it, so we immediately coordinated with someone who can rescue and transport the kitten as soon as possible.

We are asking for help to cover the transportation expenses and purchase RC milk for this tiny baby.

The kitten will be brought to The Cat House (Amadeo Cavite) where we will continue caring for her and give her the medical attention and nourishment she needs.

Many people don’t see the amount of work and resources needed to run a rescue. Beyond daily food and supplies, we also need to provide medications, veterinary care, utilities, facility maintenance, and salaries for our dedicated helpers who care for the animals every day.

Your visit is not only an opportunity to meet our cats, dogs, pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, and other rescued animals, it is also a meaningful way to support their daily needs and help us continue saving lives.
