Heavy rainfall outlook due to Tropical Cyclone OFEL and MAN-YI
Today to tomorrow noon (November 15)
Intense to Torrential (>200 mm):
Cagayan and Isabela
Heavy to Intense (100-200 mm):
Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Mountain Province, Quirino, Aurora and Kalinga
Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm):
Abra, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya
Tomorrow noon to Saturday noon (November 16)
Heavy to Intense (100-200 mm):
Batanes, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Sorsogon
Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm):
Babuyan Islands, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Catanduanes, Leyte, Biliran,and Samar
Saturday noon to Sunday noon (November 17)
Intense to Torrential (>200 mm):
Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur
Heavy to Intense (100-200 mm):
Northern Samar, Albay, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Marinduque, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Metro Manila, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Batangas,Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, and Aurora
Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm):
Leyte, Masbate, Eastern Samar, Samar, Pangasinan, Nueva Vizcaya, Romblon, Biliran, and Quirino
Forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas. Moreover, impacts in some areas maybe worsened by significant antecedent rainfall.
The public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. PAGASA Regional Services Divisions may issue Heavy Rainfall Warnings, Rainfall/Thunderstorms Advisories, and other severe weather information specific to their areas of responsibility as appropriate.
