The 14th Batang Capiznon Awards – TOSOC 2026 recently concluded its Advocacy Session, equipping our Secondary and Tertiary Finalists with the knowledge and tools to turn passion into purposeful impact.

From understanding the roots of advocacy and the vision behind BYLI and TOSOC, to exploring the Sustainable Development Goals and crafting strategic action plans, each session deepened their commitment to become catalysts of change.

More importantly, the workshop that followed challenged our finalists to move beyond ideas - transforming insights into concrete, community-driven initiatives.

Because true advocacy is not confined in discussions - it is lived daily, reflected in the choices we make, the causes we champion, and the actions we take.

As these young leaders carry their advocacies forward, they remind us that meaningful change starts small, but burns steadily when fueled by purpose.
