✨ PRESENT at the Joint Fellowship together with Bethlehem UMYF and Rose of Sharon UMYF ✨
Panaghiusa is a Cebuano word that means unity, togetherness, or coming together as one. More than simply being gathered in one place, it speaks of people choosing to stand together, share one purpose, and strengthen one another, a beautiful reminder of what we are called to be as one body in Christ.
A rope becomes strong not because of one strand, but because every strand holds together. In the same way, the strength of the church is not found in everyone being the same, but in our willingness to stand together despite our differences. Our uniqueness does not have to separate us; instead, when woven together through faith, love, and a shared purpose, our differences can make our fellowship even stronger.
And that is the heart of PANAGHIUSA, coming together not by becoming the same, but by choosing to walk, serve, and grow together in Christ.
UNITY IS NOT UNIFORMITY. We don't have to be the same to stand together as one.
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.”
