The Family Council of St. Theresa's College, Quezon City

The Family Council of St. Theresa's College, Quezon City The Council is a self-reliant, non-profit organization of STC, QC Parents. The STC Family council dates back from schoolyear 1961 - 1962, when Fr.

Francisco Araneta S.J. the first Filipino Rector of Ateneo de Manila College, met with Sr. Asuncion Martinez, ICM, the first Filipina Superior of St. Theresa College. Together, they studied ways and means on how to safeguard the education and morality of their students. According to Fr. Araneta the forces of evil in society were so strong, that it was impossible for individual families to fight ag

ainst them. There was a need for a strong organization of families to protect their children from the corruptive influences of the outside world. Thus was born the first twin Family Council of Manila -- the Ateneo de Manila and St. Theresa's College chapters.

The Saint Theresa’s College of Quezon City Golden Blue Zebras Football Team mourns the passing of our dear Sr. Josefina F. Nebres, ICM.

Today, the team offered prayers and a minute of silence in her loving memory. Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today. 🤍

Thank you, Sr. Jo, for all the love, unwavering support, and prayers you so generously gave to our team through the years. Your kindness and guidance will forever remain in our hearts.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

They went out for a weekend to win.

This championship was probably the most important game in the history of this team that needed no preparation.

It was innately in them to succeed.

They won a trophy that is not made of steel.. but made out of love and compassion… not just for the sport that they so passionately love.. but also for the world that God has given for all to enjoy and take care of.

We may have teams that compete and stand apart but we work as one for common global goals.

Thank you to our friends from Alon & Araw Club for a happy and meaningful time spent with you!

To every Theresian Golden Zebra's heart.. the memories of this weekend are not etched on a golden plate. They are etched in the soul where its light shines incessantly.

Congratulations our dear Golden Blue Zebras! We are so proud of you!

Not all victories are measured by trophies—but some journeys leave a mark far greater than any scoreline.

Our STCQC girls finished as 1st Runner-Up in the RIFA Girls 9-a-side HS Open Developmental Category last Sunday, March 15, at the Ateneo Football Field—and what they showed us will stay with us far beyond this game.

This team—composed of 11 Grade 6 students, 3 Grade 7, 1 Grade 8, and 1 Grade 9—stepped onto that field carrying more than just their love for football. Our Grade 6 girls, soon to graduate and take their next step into High School, have been balancing deadlines, clearances, and countless requirements. Just days before the match, they had their final periodical exams—leaving them with only one day to train.

And still, they showed up.

They showed up with heart.
They showed up with grit.
They showed up for each other.

They fought their way to a 1–1 draw in regulation, proving they belonged—every single one of them.

In the final extra 10 minutes, the game slipped away.

But what happened after… that is what truly defined them.

With tears still evident on their faces, our girls walked to Ateneo’s side. They congratulated the players. They showed respect to their families and supporters. In the middle of heartbreak, they chose grace.

And in that moment, the entire field felt it.

They were met with heartfelt applause—because everyone witnessed something rare and beautiful: strength in vulnerability, and dignity in defeat.

That is the true Theresian spirit.

A spirit that does not fade in loss,
but shines even brighter because of it.

We are beyond proud of you—not just for being 1st Runner-Up, but for the kind of young women you are becoming.

This was never just a game.
This was character. 💛💙✨
