Our FPJ Youth Caloocan 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨, together with 𝐕𝐏𝐄 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜 𝐉𝐌 𝐂𝐚ñ𝐚, had the opportunity to witness firsthand the casting of votes by the Members of the House of Representatives regarding the impeachment proceedings against the 15th Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.

Being present inside the halls where history unfolds is a reminder that democracy is alive through accountability, participation, and the voices of the people.

As young leaders, moments like this inspire us to become more aware, involved, and responsible citizens of our nation.

FPJ Youth expresses its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), under the leadership of Chairman John Patrick C. Gregorio, for their strong support of the organization's youth-centered sports initiatives.

Through the PSC’s generous response to our request, FPJ Youth, represented by our 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 has received 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. This support comes at a timely moment, especially during the summer season when youth are actively participating in sports and outdoor activities.

This initiative remains aligned with the broader advocacy of promoting holistic development among Filipino youth, emphasizing the importance of sports and physical education in building discipline, teamwork, leadership, and overall well-being. FPJ Youth also acknowledges the continued support of Rep. Brian Poe of FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist in advancing this shared advocacy.

FPJ Youth recognizes the vital role of the PSC in advancing grassroots sports development and empowering communities through accessible programs. We are grateful for the leadership of Chairman Gregorio and the Commission’s continued support to strengthen efforts in creating inclusive opportunities that inspire the Filipino youth to lead active and healthy.

As these resources are utilized across various chapters, FPJ Youth remains committed to promoting community engagement, healthy lifestyles, and youth empowerment through sports.

Ibinahagi ni Hon. Brian Poe, Congressman ng House of Representatives, ang kanyang matibay na paninindigan sa pagsusulong ng Freedom of Information bilang susi sa isang mas bukas at tapat na pamahalaan.

Ayon sa kanya, ang tunay na pagbabago ay nagsisimula sa pagiging bukas at malinaw sa pamahalaan. Sa ganitong paraan, nagkakaroon ang mamamayan ng sapat na access sa impormasyon—na nagbibigay sa kanila ng kakayahang umunawa, magtanong, at panagutin ang mga nasa kapangyarihan. Sa ganitong paraan, mas nagiging responsable at tumutugon ang gobyerno sa pangangailangan ng bayan.

𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗 🤝 𝗙𝗣𝗝 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛: 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘!

Through the Office of the FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist, FPJ Youth joins forces with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in exploring the Tara, Basa! Program—championing literacy as a foundation for empowered youth and stronger communities.

Beyond strengthening literacy initiatives, one of the key discussions centered from this meeting is on how we can bridge volunteers and students, especially from state universities and colleges, to actively access and participate in the program. By mobilizing the youths as partners in service, we are not only expanding the reach of Tara, Basa! but also cultivating a generation that is engaged, socially aware, and community-driven.

In line with this, efforts are underway to identify priority local regions for implementation, which the FPJ Youth is currently working to connect its local chapters with DSWD regional offices, ensuring a more coordinated and sustainable rollout of the program. As the Tara, Basa! Program has already been implemented in 2026, this partnership now moves toward deepening its impact. Stronger partnerships and collaborations for FPJ Youth and DSWD are being built in preparation for an even more expansive and inclusive implementation in 2027!
