𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟭 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Marking another step in their training journey, the first batch of Grade 10 cadets from the Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT) of Calbayog City National High School participated in their third field session at the MSS Hall on July 31, 2026.

Continuing their practical training, the cadets engaged in the reinforcement of basic drills, proper command ex*****on, and field formations under the guidance of the CAT officers. Through consistent practice and active participation, they developed greater coordination, attentiveness, and confidence in carrying out each command.

As the training progresses, the cadets continue to cultivate the values of responsibility, unity, and integrity—principles that embody the purpose of the Citizenship Advancement Training. With every session, they take another step toward becoming disciplined individuals prepared to serve and contribute positively to their community.

July 25, Saturday, As the sun rose over Brgy. Rawis, Coastal Road, Calbayog City, the Citizenship Advancement Training (C.A.T.) officers of Calbayog City National High School proudly rendered their service during the CCNHS Alumni Nutri Run.

With discipline, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to public service, the officers assisted in maintaining order, ensuring the safety of participants, and helping keep the venue clean throughout the event. Their dedication reflected the values of responsibility and leadership that define the C.A.T. organization.

The event concluded with a successful Nutri Run and raffle activities that brought together alumni, students, and the citizens, reflecting how health, service, and unity can move people toward a common purpose.

The Citizen Advancement Training (CAT) officer of Calbayog City National High School conducted the second field session for the Batch Grade 10 cadets at the Mel-Senen Sarmiento (MSS) Hall on July 24, continuing their practical training for School Year 2026–2027.

Under the guidance of the CAT officers, the cadets practiced basic drills and commands, demonstrating discipline, attentiveness, and steady improvement in every command. The session reinforced the values of responsibility and confidence as the cadets continued to build the foundation of leadership.

With each field session, the cadets move closer to becoming disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented individuals, reflecting the true purpose of the Citizenship Advancement Training program.

On Friday, July 17, the Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT) officers of Calbayog City National High School conducted the first field session for the first batch of Grade 10 cadets of School Year 2026–2027, marking the beginning of their hands-on CAT training.

The session began with the recitation of the DepEd Vision, Mission, and Core Values, followed by the practice of basic drills and commands under the guidance of the CAT officers. Throughout the activity, the cadets showed discipline, attentiveness, and a willingness to learn.

As they took their first steps on the field, the cadets began a journey of developing leadership, responsibility, and character—qualities that embody the purpose of the Citizenship Advancement Training program.

𝐂𝐀𝐓 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐤 '26: 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞

On Friday, July 10, the Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT) officers of Calbayog City National High School officially began the orientation for the first batch of cadets for school year 2026-2027. Officers were assigned to lead sections from 𝗦𝗧𝗘 (𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴) – 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗕𝗘𝗣 (𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺) – 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗣𝗙𝗟 (𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲) – 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻.

Cadets sat quietly and attentively, taking in every word the officers shared. The CAT officers stood with dignity and dertermination in handling the cadets of showing discipline, and readiness. As every cadets stood with confidence in performing basic drills and commands. Every movement felt like something more, it echoed readiness, self-control, and responsibility, reflecting CAT's purpose of shaping both their minds and character. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for every cadet, a journey to discover their inner leader and become inspired by all they can achieve.

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱

The Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT) officers gathered as they successfully conducted their second General Meeting, with the guidance of the CAT Coordinator, Mr. John Jason G. Termo.

As they shared insights and experiences from recently accomplished duties, such as preparing for the Baysay Pride Parade last June 20, 2026, and planned new assignments for upcoming major school activities. Other important matters were also discussed to surely execute every plan smoothly and every task is clearly assigned.

Keep an eye out as we continue our duties with teamwork, discipline, service.
