A Continuing Commitment to Our Community

GEVHAI Management continues to do its best to address issues affecting the welfare, safety, and security of our residents, despite limitations in manpower, financial resources, equipment, and other operational tools.

What makes our efforts possible is the spirit of collaboration—working closely with our LGU partners, government agencies, volunteers, and friends of Greenwoods who are willing to extend their time, expertise, equipment, and support. We may not have everything we need, but we will continue to find ways, build partnerships, and act.

Our commitment remains clear: to do what we can, with what we have, for the safety and well-being of the Greenwoods community.

The activities undertaken from January to present focused on:
• Road repair and traffic safety
• Drainage and flood mitigation
• Village cleanliness and maintenance
• Emergency response infrastructure
• Security and support facilities
• Coordination with LGUs, Sta. Lucia, Meralco, MMDA, and other partners
• Sports and community facility improvements
• Environmental maintenance and tree management
• Removal of unauthorized advertisements

We thank our homeowners for your support and understanding and we honor our people who doing the sacrifices. Together, we can accomplish more.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: MWCI FREE DESLUDGING

MWCI is encouraging all GEV homeowners and residential customers to take advantage of its FREE desludging service (septic tank siphoning).

To bring this service to Greenwoods, MWCI representatives will conduct a census across all Areas of the village to identify households interested in availing of the service. A minimum of 4,000 participating households is required before desludging operations can begin.

WHY SHOULD HOMEOWNERS PARTICIPATE?

Regular septic tank desludging helps:

Prevent septic tank overflows
Eliminate foul odors
Reduce the risk of untreated wastewater entering drainage systems and waterways

Your participation helps keep our homes, community, and waterways cleaner and healthier.

MESSAGE TO THE GREENWOODS COMMUNITY
On the Ongoing Dredging and Clearing Efforts Within the Village

Dear Fellow Homeowners,

We would like to update everyone on the continuing efforts to address the dredging and clearing of waterways within Greenwoods Executive Village.

We recognize the urgency of this concern, particularly with the need to improve water flow and drainage capacity and reduce the risk of flooding. However, the implementation of dredging activities along Mahabang Sapa (Acacia) and Libho Creek (Area 10) involves several complexities and requires coordination among various government agencies and stakeholders. The level and timing of assistance have necessarily varied depending on the specific issues and resources that need to be addressed.

We sincerely thank Barangay San Andres, through Punong Barangay Benson, for responding to the immediate need and taking concrete action to assist the community. Their support has been instrumental in initiating the necessary clearing and cleaning efforts of smaller water arteries within Areas 3, 4 and portions of 5 and 9 despite their limitations while longer-term arrangements are being worked out. We thank them for lending the manpower to do this.

We likewise acknowledge and appreciate the DPWH Central Office, DPWH 1st District Engineering Office of Rizal, and the Municipal Government of Cainta for their technical assistance, guidance, and coordination.

Behind the actual movement of dredging equipment are a number of logistical and operational concerns that have had to be addressed, including:
1. Transportation and access of heavy equipment into the village; 2. Mobilization and deployment of equipment and personnel;
3. Movement of equipment to and from designated staging areas;
4. Identification and coordination of appropriate dumping/disposal sites;
5. Existing informal settler (IS) concerns and other affected areas;
6. Site accessibility and safety considerations;
7. Scheduling and availability of government equipment and personnel;
8. and Other technical, environmental, traffic, and operational requirements that affect the actual conduct of the work.

We are particularly grateful for the considerations extended by the Municipal Government of Cainta and Mayor Kit Nieto despite the numerous challenges in scheduling and coordinating available resources. These efforts demonstrate that addressing the problem requires not only equipment, but also careful coordination among the different offices and stakeholders.

GEVHAI continues to pursue all available avenues of assistance and is coordinating with the concerned agencies to sustain the dredging and clearing activities. We remain committed to finding practical and immediate measures while working toward more comprehensive and sustainable solutions for our drainage and waterways.

We appeal to all homeowners for patience, understanding, and cooperation as these efforts continue. We understand the frustration caused by delays and the urgency of the situation, but many of the challenges involved are beyond the immediate control of the Association and require government coordination and compliance with established procedures.

What matters is that the necessary actions are being pursued, and that the different levels of government and our community are working together toward the same objective.

Our sincere appreciation to all government agencies, barangay officials, personnel, volunteers, and homeowners who continue to extend their support.

Let us continue to work together for a safer, more resilient, and flood-ready Greenwoods Executive Village.

Thank you for your patience and continued understanding.
