𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧- 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟎𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔- The Caibiran Fire Station actively participated in the “Alima sa Kinaiyahan” 2nd Quarter Coastal Clean-up and Mangrove Planting activity, demonstrating its continued commitment to environmental protection and community involvement. The station joined other participating agencies, volunteers, and community members in conducting a coastal clean-up operation aimed at maintaining the cleanliness and preservation of the coastal areas.

As part of the activity, participants also conducted mangrove planting to help strengthen coastal protection, support marine biodiversity, and promote environmental sustainability. The initiative highlighted the importance of collective action in protecting natural resources and raising public awareness on environmental conservation.

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺:

𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧- 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟎4, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 The Caibiran Fire Station in coordination with the Local Government Unit successfully conducted “Harampang han mga Electricians, Solar Power Installers, ngan mga Parag-uma, Re: Fire Safety Tips” at Caibiran Gymnasium, Barangay Palanay, Caibiran, Biliran, The program aimed to intensify fire safety awareness through lectures and Fire Safety Tips.

The program was proudly attended by the following distinguished guests and representatives from their respective agencies; Engr. Gerard Oledan ( Gen. Manager of Bileco), Mr. John Avila (Bileco Board of Director of Caibiran), Mr. Albert Brian Peñaflor (MLGOO) and Hon. Rhodhessa D. Revita (Municipal Mayor) who also shared valuable insights through a brief talk on safety in electrical and solar installation. The program concluded with a reminder that while fire spreads like a contagious disease, it can be prevented if everyone helps and cooperates.

𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺:

𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧- 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟎𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 The Caibiran Fire Station successfully conducted a Fire Drill at Sitio Canseso, Barangay Cabibihan, Caibiran, Biliran, with 23 attendees. The program aimed to intensify fire safety awareness through lectures and drills.

The program began with opening remarks from Barangay Captain Noli N. Lipalam, followed by an introduction from FO3 Jun Carlo D. Corpin, who emphasized the importance of the activity. FO3 Corpin urged residents to cooperate and take the activity seriously, highlighting the area’s difficult road situation—which makes it inaccessible to fire engines—as well as the limited water supply and the current drought exacerbated by El Niño.

FO1 Jano Nero R. Gahum conducted the lecture, where he discussed the analogy of fire, proper extinguishing techniques by recognizing fire classes, emergency procedures during a fire incident, Exit Drills in the Home (EDITH), and other safety tips. He also reminded residents about anti-burning laws, noting that violators of RA 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act) and RA 8749 (Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999) face fines and imprisonment.

Following the lectures, a bucket relay was performed. Residents formed two opposing lines to streamline the passing of buckets, a strategy designed to save time and increase efficiency when extinguishing fires. The program concluded with a reminder that while fire spreads like a contagious disease, it can be prevented if everyone helps and cooperates.

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺:
𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧- The Caibiran Fire Station conducted a comprehensive visitation and fire safety awareness campaign among various business establishments. The activity aimed to strengthen fire prevention measures, ensure compliance with existing fire safety regulations, and promote a culture of preparedness among business owners, employees, and the general public.

During the visit, personnel engaged with establishment owners and staff to discuss the importance of maintaining functional fire protection systems such as fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and clearly marked emergency exits. They also provided guidance on proper housekeeping practices, safe electrical usage, and the importance of keeping evacuation routes unobstructed at all times.

In addition, fire safety tips and informational materials were distributed to further enhance awareness and understanding of fire prevention practices.
