The first two days of Brigada Eskwela 2026 are officially underway! As part of our commitment to service and environmental responsibility, the YES-O officers actively participated in the school's clean-up and preparation efforts.

Together with the SSLG and BKB, we joined hands in helping prepare the school for the upcoming school year. Through teamwork and shared responsibility, the student organizations worked together to create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for everyone.

These snapshots capture more than just cleaningโ€”they reflect the spirit of volunteerism, responsibility, and community that Brigada Eskwela continues to inspire.

From sweeping hallways to preparing learning spaces, every helping hand contributes to making our school a better place for students, teachers, and the entire school community.

Brigada Eskwela, ano tara? ๐Ÿ‘€

Join us and be part of the effort to make a difference, one helping hand at a time! ๐Ÿ’šโœจ

๐ŸŒŠ Protect Our Ocean ๐ŸŒŠ

Plastic pollution remains one of the greatest threats to our oceans. Every year, large amounts of single-use plastics such as plastic bags, straws, and packaging end up in rivers and seas, putting marine life and ecosystems at risk. Addressing this issue begins with awareness and responsible choices in our everyday lives.

As part of the Eco Frames: Poster for Change initiative, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), in collaboration with the Arts Club, features another eco-themed digital artwork that encourages students to reflect on their environmental impact. This poster highlights the message โ€œProtect Our Oceans: Say No to Single-Use Plastics,โ€ reminding the school community that reducing plastic use is an important step in protecting marine life and preserving our oceans for future generations.

The poster was creatively illustrated by John Rick Taguba, whose artwork visually represents the harmful effects of plastic waste in marine environments and the importance of choosing more sustainable alternatives. Through powerful imagery and a clear message, the poster encourages everyone to reduce, reuse, and rethink the use of single-use plastics.

With this poster, the partnership of YES-O and the Arts Club showcases how student creativity can spark conversations about real environmental issues. The message encourages the school community to rethink plastic use and take simple steps toward protecting our oceans and marine life.

Protect our oceans today for a cleaner and healthier tomorrow.๐Ÿ’™

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), in collaboration with the Arts Club, proudly presents the second featured poster from our digital advocacy campaign, Eco Frames: Poster for Change. This initiative highlights student-created eco-themed posters that aim to strengthen environmental awareness and promote responsible practices within our school community.

Our second feature showcases the poster โ€œBasura Mo, Responsibilidad Mo,โ€ which emphasizes the importance of practicing proper waste segregation. The message reminds students that keeping our surroundings clean begins with simple but meaningful actions, such as disposing of waste properly and using the correct bins for different types of garbage.

This message is brought to life through the creativity of Hannah Yesha P. Reblando. Through her visual storytelling, the poster emphasizes that responsible waste management starts with each of us. Her artwork reminds the school community that simple habits, such as properly segregating waste, can make a meaningful difference in protecting the environment and keeping our campus clean.

Through this collaboration, YES-O and the Arts Club continue to encourage students to use creativity as a platform for environmental advocacy while inspiring the school community to take part in building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable school environment.

๐ŸŒฑGrow Green, Learn Clean๐ŸŒฑ

In collaboration with the Arts Club, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) proudly presents Eco Frames: Poster for Change โ€” a digital poster campaign that aims to promote environmental awareness, responsible waste management, and sustainable habits among students.

We proudly feature the eco-themed digital poster โ€œGrow Green, Learn Clean: Promoting a Sustainable School Environment,โ€ conceptualized, illustrated, and designed by Joshua Maruzzo. Through his creativity and artistic skill, this poster effectively delivers a strong message about caring for our school environment, protecting plants and trees, practicing proper waste segregation, and developing eco-friendly habits. His artwork highlights the vital role of students in maintaining a clean, green, and sustainable campus, making environmental advocacy both engaging and visually impactful.

Together, let us support young artists, promote environmental responsibility, and take collective action toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

Twist for the Earth ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ’š

This Valentineโ€™s Day, YES-O officers handcrafted eco-friendly tulips and lilies paired with chocolates, creatively packaged in minimal-waste vellum board.

Each gift was carefully made to promote creativity, sustainability, and responsible use of materials, giving students a meaningful, eco-conscious way to celebrate love while supporting environmental awareness.

Through this project, we showed that spreading love and caring for the planet can go hand in hand! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿซ
