VSNI CELEBRATES TEACHERS’ DAY 2026: A DAY OF GRATITUDE, LOVE, AND APPRECIATION! 💐❤️

Veridiano-Sto. Niño Institute Inc. (VSNII) celebrated Teachers’ Day today, October 2, with a meaningful program filled with appreciation, entertainment, and joyful moments to honor the dedication, hard work, and sacrifices of our beloved teachers.

The celebration began with an opening prayer led by our VSNII SBO Grade 12 HUMSS Representative, Gabriel Salon, followed by the opening remarks delivered by our VSNII SBO President, Joshelle Bonifacio. The program continued with an energetic Zumba session facilitated by our VSNII SBO officers, bringing excitement and liveliness to the celebration.

The YES-O officers, composed of Reyman Viloria, Efraim Daguio, Charles Riparip, Carl John Guzman, and Stanley Catolos, showcased their talents through a special intermission number that added fun and entertainment to the event.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the heartfelt tribute of students to their teachers. Through sincere messages and thoughtful gifts, students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the teachers’ endless patience, dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering support in guiding them toward their dreams and goals.

To make the celebration even more memorable, fun games were organized for both teachers and students, creating an opportunity to strengthen their bond, share laughter, and build wonderful memories beyond the classroom.

The celebration served as a reminder that behind every student's success are teachers who continuously inspire, guide, and believe in their potential. More than just a celebration, it was a heartfelt expression of love, respect, and gratitude to the educators who make a lasting difference in the lives of their students.

Happy Friday! The Gospel for today, September 25, 2026, is Luke 9:18–22. Jesus asks His disciples, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answers, “The Christ of God.” Jesus then speaks about His suffering, death, and resurrection.

The Gospel can be connected to taking care of our life this way: Jesus reminds us that life has a deeper purpose because it is connected to God. The Christian life is not promised to be free from suffering. Jesus Himself accepted suffering while remaining faithful to the Father. Therefore, when life becomes difficult, we should not conclude that life is no longer worth living. Instead, we are called to value life, endure difficult seasons, seek God, and allow Him to give meaning to our struggles.

HAPPENING NOW| YOUTH ON WHEELS : ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS

Veridiano-Sto. Nino Institute Inc. warmly welcomed the Land Transportation Office (LTO) for a meaningful seminar on Youth on Wheels, highlighting responsible vehicle use, road safety, and the importance of becoming disciplined and responsible road users.

MENSAHE SA LAHAT NG MAG-AARAL, MAGULANG, G**O AT MGA KASAMA SA KOMUNIDAD NG STO. NINO DISTRICT

Mga mahal kong mag-aaral, magulang, g**o, at mga kasama sa komunidad ng Sto. Niño District:

Sa nangyaring insidente ng pagbabanta laban sa isa sa ating mga paaralan, nakita natin kung gaano kabilis maaaring magdulot ng takot at pangamba ang isang post o mensahe. Kaya sa ating mga kabataan, ito ang nais kong ipaalala:

Anak, hindi biro ang pagbabanta.
Hindi biro ang magsabing may babarilin.
Hindi biro ang magbanta ng karahasan.
Hindi biro ang gumawa ng pekeng account para manakot.
At hindi biro ang mag-post ng isang bagay na maaaring maglagay sa buong paaralan sa takot.
Maaaring sa iyo ay “trip lang.”
Maaaring sabihin mong “joke lang naman.”
Pero sa isang magulang na nag-aalala para sa kanyang anak, hindi iyon biro.
Sa g**ong may pananagutan sa kanyang mga mag-aaral, hindi iyon biro.
At sa mga pulis, barangay officials, LGU at school personnel na kailangang kumilos upang tiyaking ligtas ang lahat, hindi rin iyon biro.

Ang isang pindot sa cellphone ay maaaring magdulot ng totoong takot at totoong epekto sa maraming tao. At ang ganitong gawain ay maaaring humantong sa school disciplinary proceedings, counseling at intervention, at imbestigasyon ng mga kinauukulang awtoridad, alinsunod sa batas at mga patakaran ng DepEd. Ngunit gusto ko ring maging malinaw: hindi natin layunin na takutin ang ating mga anak. Layunin nating turuan sila.

Mga magulang, kausapin natin sila. Alamin natin kung ano ang ginagawa nila online. Turuan natin silang gamitin ang social media nang may pananagutan. Mga g**o at School Heads, maging mapagmatyag tayo, ngunit manatiling mahinahon. Makinig tayo sa ating mga bata. Minsan, ang isang nakakabahalang post ay maaari ring maging senyales na may batang nangangailangan ng agarang paggabay at tulong. At sa ating mga mag-aaral: kapag may nakita kayong pagbabanta o kahina-hinalang mensahe, huwag i-share para kumalat. I-report agad sa inyong magulang, g**o, School Head, o sa kinauukulang awtoridad.

Nagpapasalamat tayo sa ating Municipal Government sa pangunguna ng ating Mayor Andrew Vincent AV Roxas Pagurayan,PNP, barangay officials, mga School Heads, teachers, parents, at iba pang katuwang sa mabilis at sama-samang pagkilos upang mapanatiling ligtas ang ating mga paaralan. Ang seguridad ng ating mga paaralan ay hindi lamang trabaho ng DepEd. Hindi lamang ito trabaho ng pulis. Hindi lamang ito trabaho ng mga magulang. Pananagutan natin itong lahat. Sa Sto. Niño District, patuloy nating paiigtingin ang pagbabantay at pakikipag-ugnayan sa ating mga katuwang. Dahil sa paaralan, walang puwang ang pananakot at karahasan. Mag-isip bago mag-post. Maging responsable. Kung may nakita, magsumbong—huwag magpakalat. At higit sa lahat:

ANG BANTA AY HINDI BIRO. ANG KALIGTASAN NG BAWAT BATA AY PANANAGUTAN NATIN.
