The program concluded with a memorable photo session featuring each Grade Level HRPTA team together with the newly inducted XUGS PTA Confederation Board of Officers.

Smiles, enthusiasm, and a shared sense of purpose filled the room as everyone celebrated the beginning of a new year of service.
The officers carry a shared commitment to collaboration, servant leadership, and dedication to the Xavier Grade School community.

Part 2: Fellowship and Orientation at the Robotics Room

Following the Oath-Taking Mass, the newly inducted XUGS CBO & HRPTA officers gathered at the Robotics Room for a fellowship and orientation program, marking the beginning of their shared journey of service and leadership.
The gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie, build meaningful connections, and foster collaboration among parent leaders and the school administration.

The program was honored by the presence of Dr. Pam Pajente- Vice President for Basic Education, Mr. Danilo T. Zapanta - XUGS Principal, and Ms. Fritzie Rapadas - Assistant Principal for Administration, whose unwavering support reflects the school's commitment to a strong partnership with parents.

The XUGS PTA Moderator Ms. Ivy Marturillas warmly welcomed the guests and the newly inducted officers, setting a positive and inspiring atmosphere for the program.

XUGS PTA CBO President Ms. Fretzen Dawn Ilogon then presented the PTA's vision, mission, and objectives, highlighting the important role of every officer in building a stronger connection between home and school.
She encouraged everyone to lead with integrity, unity, and a genuine spirit of service, while expressing her sincere gratitude for the commitment and dedication of all the officers as they begin their journey of serving the Xavier Grade School community.

Part 1: Eucharistic Mass at the XUGS Chapel

With hearts united in faith and a shared commitment to service, the Xavier University Grade School Parents-Teachers Association (XUGS PTA) formally inducted its newly elected officers for School Year 2026–2027.
The occasion marked the beginning of a meaningful journey of servant leadership, strengthened by the partnership between parents and the school community.

The celebration opened with a Eucharistic Mass presided over by Fr. Arman B. Samonte, SJ, whose inspiring reflection reminded everyone that authentic leadership is rooted in faith, humility, and a genuine desire to serve others. The solemn celebration set the tone for a meaningful day of commitment and purpose.

Following the Mass, the Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HRPTA) officers took their Oath of Office before XUGS Principal Mr. Danilo T. Zapanta, pledging to lead with integrity, dedication, and a spirit of unity. More than a ceremonial tradition, the oath symbolized each officer's commitment to strengthening the partnership between home and school for the benefit of every young Atenean. As the newly inducted officers begin their journey of service, may they continue to inspire, encourage active parent involvement, and uphold the values that make the Xavier Grade School community strong, faith-filled, and united. Together, let us build a school community where every family is engaged, every voice is valued, and every child is empowered to grow and thrive.

A new school year brings new friendships, new adventures, and new memories! As we welcome School Year 2026–2027, the XUGS PTA invites all Xavier Ateneo Grade School families to join our Back-to-School Photo Contest.

Capture your child's excitement during the first week of classes and get a chance to win a delicious Jollibee treat!

5. Set your post to Public.
6. Comment the link to your Facebook post in the comments section of this official contest announcement.

📌 MECHANICS
• The student must be officially enrolled at Xavier University Grade School for SY 2026–2027.
• Only one (1) entry per student will be accepted.
• Entries must be submitted within the contest period.
• Photos must be original, wholesome, and appropriate for a school community.
• Photos must be taken by a parent or legal guardian.
• Photos should preferably be taken upon arrival, at drop-off areas, school entrances, waiting areas, or other common spaces.
• To protect the privacy of students and school personnel, photos taken inside classrooms are discouraged.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring that their entries respect the privacy and dignity of others and comply with applicable data privacy and child protection guidelines.
• Entries containing inappropriate, unauthorized, or privacy-sensitive content may be disqualified
• Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, and how well the photo captures the excitement of the first week of school.
• The decision of the judges shall be final.
• By joining, participants allow the XUGS PTA to feature submitted photos on its official page.
