On July 23, 2026, the LREB Orientation for Student Researchers was successfully conducted at AVR 3, Liceo de Cagayan University โ€“ Main Campus. The activity equipped student researchers with fundamental knowledge on research ethics, ethical review procedures, and the principles of responsible conduct in research.

The orientation featured Dr. Dominic T. Polancos, Director of Liceo Research Ethics Board (LREB), who delivered a comprehensive discussion on the ethical standards, responsibilities, and requirements that guide the conduct of academic research. An open forum and consultation followed, providing participants with the opportunity to seek clarification and gain deeper insights into the research ethics review process.

The program was spearheaded by Ms. Katherine Rose J. Rosalinas, CAS Research Coordinator, in collaboration with the Association of Political Science Students (APSS), reflecting the University's continued commitment to fostering a culture of ethical scholarship, academic integrity, and excellence in research.

The Association of Political Science Students (APSS) successfully conducted its Miting de Avance 2026 on July 17 via Google Meet, providing candidates with an opportunity to present their platforms, advocacies, and aspirations for the organization.

As one of the highlights of the APSS electoral process, the event served as a venue for meaningful dialogue between the candidates and the Political Science community, allowing students to learn more about the visions and commitments of those seeking to serve for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

The Miting de Avance reaffirmed APSS's commitment to promoting transparent, informed, and participatory student leadership through a fair and engaging electoral process.
