Capitol University, through the collaborative efforts of the University Administration, the Capitol University Marketing and Student Affairs (CU-MSA), the College of Education (CED), and the College of Education Student Body Organization (CESBO), formally welcomed two exchange students from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Indonesia, under the SEA Teachers Program last July 2, 2026.

The welcoming activities commenced with a formal reception at the Seminar Room, where members of the University Executive Council, administrators, faculty members, and student leaders warmly received the delegates. The program featured welcome messages, introductions, cultural exchanges, and presentations highlighting Capitol University's commitment to internationalization, academic excellence, and global partnerships.

Following the university reception, the delegates proceeded to the College of Education Simulation Room, where the CED community hosted a mini welcoming program. Faculty members, student leaders, and education students introduced the college's academic culture, traditions, and vibrant learning community, fostering an atmosphere of friendship and intercultural understanding.

The arrival of the UNJ exchange students marks another milestone in Capitol University's continuing efforts to strengthen international collaboration and provide meaningful cross-cultural learning experiences for both local and international students.

Capitol University proudly welcomed two exchange students from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Indonesia, through the SEA Teachers Program, strengthening its commitment to internationalization, academic collaboration, and intercultural engagement among future educators in Southeast Asia.

Hosted through the collaborative efforts of Capitol University, the Office for Internationalization and Linkages, CU Muslim Students Associaton, the College of Education (CED), and the College of Education Student Body Organization (CESBO), the welcoming activities officially commenced at the Seminar Room of the CU Administration Building. The program gathered university executives, faculty members, staff, and student leaders in extending a warm Capitolian welcome to the visiting delegates.

The ceremony opened with the Doxology, Philippine National Anthem, and the Capitol University Hymn, rendered by the CU-CED Glee Club, setting a solemn and celebratory atmosphere for the occasion.

The delegates were formally welcomed by Dr. Fe R. Juarez, Executive Vice President, followed by the introduction of participants by Dr. Mercelita J. Labial, Coordinator of the Office for Internationalization and Linkages. To acquaint the visitors with the student community, Chrysler John P. Utlang, President of the College of Education Student Body Organization (CESBO) and Executive President of the Central Student Government, introduced the College of Education student leaders, CESBO officers, and the CU-MSA representatives, highlighting the collaborative spirit that defines the University.

Adding inspiration to the program, Dr. Amor C. De Torres, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the value of international partnerships in enriching educational experiences and fostering globally competent educators. This was followed by an inspirational message from Ms. Fiona Cuyuca, a College of Education student and Summer Cum Laude graduate of the Class of 2026, who encouraged the delegates to embrace every opportunity for learning, cultural exchange, and personal growth throughout their stay at Capitol University.

One of the highlights of the program was the heartfelt message delivered by the visiting delegates from Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Ms. Sarah Aulia and Ms. Khalilah Nayla Izzaty, who expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and their enthusiasm for the academic and cultural journey that lies ahead.

Following the formal program, the delegates proceeded to the College of Education Simulation Room, where the College of Education community hosted a Mini Welcome Program. Faculty members, CESBO officers, and education students warmly received the exchange students through fellowship activities and introductions that showcased the college's identity, academic culture, traditions, and vibrant learning environment. The welcoming activities concluded with a guided tour of the College of Education Department, allowing the delegates to become familiar with the facilities and learning spaces that will become part of their exchange experience.

The arrival of the UNJ exchange students through the SEA Teachers Program reflects Capitol University's continuing pursuit of educational excellence through international cooperation. More than an exchange of academic knowledge, the program serves as a bridge for cultural understanding, professional growth, and lasting friendships among future educators across Southeast Asia.

As the University continues to expand its global partnerships, the Capitolian community looks forward to sharing meaningful learning experiences and creating memories that celebrate diversity, collaboration, and the transformative power of education.

Their visit marks the beginning of an enriching academic and cultural journey under Capitol University's SEAMEO Student Exchange Program. As they embark on this international exchange experience, we look forward to meaningful learning, cultural immersion, and lasting friendships that strengthen the bond between our institutions and nations.

‎The CU - Muslim Students Association proudly congratulates Engr. Elmer Macabagul, CU-MSA Moderator, on successfully completing his 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴.
