Earlier today, SSLG officers proudly joined fellow youth delegates of CDOC for a meaningful gathering centered on leadership, collaboration, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

“Everyone has a piece of the solution. The key is to harmonize all points of view,” Embradura stressed, urging student leaders to mobilize every sector, bridge perspectives, and forge solutions together rather than shoulder every problem themselves.

“Instead of doing it yourself, ask for help. Prepare yourself for openness,” he said, calling on leaders to embrace vulnerability, listen deeply, and immerse themselves in the realities of their communities.

Embradura further challenged student leaders to pierce beyond surface-level problems, confront their root causes, and empathize with learners before taking action.

“A band-aid solution is not a solution,” he emphasized, warning leaders against temporary fixes that fail to address the deeper issues confronting their communities.

Please be informed that Mambuaya National High School will have NO CLASSES on August 13–14, 2026, due to the high heat index.

This temporary suspension of classes is implemented to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel. With the extreme heat, everyone is encouraged to take extra precautions and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures. 🌡️☀️

During these days, please remember to stay hydrated, stay indoors or in cool and well-ventilated areas when possible, and take enough rest. Let us all remain responsible and mindful of our health while keeping ourselves safe from the effects of extreme heat. 💧🧊

Use this time to rest, recharge, and take care of yourselves and your families. We look forward to seeing everyone back safe, healthy, and ready to learn!

LEADTalk 1 is currently underway on Day 1 of LEADRIGHT, featuring an insightful discussion on Leadership, Learner Rights, and Protection.

Atty. Neri is currently delivering an important message on navigating leadership in the age of social media, highlighting how learner leaders can responsibly use digital platforms to lead, advocate, and amplify the voices of their fellow learners.

And this is just the beginning. LEADRIGHT Talks will continue throughout the next few days, bringing more conversations, insights, and meaningful discussions for learner leaders.
