NHA Laguna District Participates in the Coordination Meeting on Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program

The National Housing Authority (NHA) Laguna District Office attended and participated in the coordination meeting on the implementation of Key Result Area (KRA) 3 – Social Preparation and Informal Settler Families (ISFs) Management, as part of the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program in CALABARZON.

The activity was attended by representatives from the NHA Cavite, Rizal, and Batangas-Quezon District Offices; the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Region IV-A the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region IV-A the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IV-A and the NHA Central Office through the Resettlement and Development Services Department.

The coordination meeting was hosted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region IV-A, bringing together key government agencies to strengthen inter-agency coordination and collaboration in advancing social preparation and the effective management of Informal Settler Families (ISFs) under the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program.

This 5-day digitalized COSHEP LLRN Project in three Biñan City, Laguna barangays brings together DPWH, NHA Laguna, RDSD, LGU Biñan, HOAI, and barangay officials to conduct streamlined, paperless data gathering, digital mapping, and household profiling focused on housing conditions, land tenure, community needs, and infrastructure status. on-site data collection across the three barangays for data consolidation, validation, map preparation.

Successful Voluntary Dismantling and Relocation of 18 Affected Families under the PNR South Long Haul Project at St. Barts Southville Heights, San Pablo City, Laguna.

On October 1, 2026, the National Housing Authority (NHA) Laguna District Office successfully facilitated the voluntary dismantling and relocation of 18 affected families at St. Barts Southville Heights, San Pablo City, Laguna, in connection with the implementation of the PNR South Long Haul Project.

The activity was carried out through coordination among the concerned NHA personnel, DOTr, LGU, PNR, and affected families, with emphasis on an orderly, safe, and properly documented relocation process. The voluntary participation of the affected families contributed to the smooth implementation of the activity and reflected their cooperation and understanding of the relocation process.

Through this initiative, the NHA continues to fulfill its mandate of providing housing assistance and facilitating the orderly relocation of families affected by government infrastructure projects. The successful activity demonstrates the Agency’s continuing commitment to responsible relocation, stakeholder coordination, and the provision of appropriate housing opportunities for affected families, while supporting the implementation of vital government infrastructure projects.

On this day, October 1, 2026, the City Urban Development and Housing Office (CUDHO) and Engineering Office of San Pablo City, Laguna has conducted punch listing and site inspection on the various physically completed community facilities of St. Barts Southville Heights Housing Project located in Brgy. San Bartolome, San Pablo City, Laguna.

The said inspection was jointly attended by the Technical Staffs of the NHA Laguna District Office along with the respective contractors of the various facilities subject for turn-over with the San Pablo City LGU.

Community facilities namely One Unit Day Care Center, One Unit Health Center, One Unit Community Police Action Center (ComPAC), One Unit Talipapa, One Unit Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and One Unit Multi-Purposed Covered Court were subjected to punchlisting of the Local Government Unit of San Pablo City prior turn-over thru the perfection and approval of the Deed of Donation and Acceptance (DODA).

Capulong, District Manager of Laguna District office along with the Technical Staffs and Baque Corporation has conducted occular inspection today, Sept. 30,2026, on the on-going projects within Brgy. Banlic, Calamba City namely Casa Crisostomo under the Supreme Court's Mandamus with 140 Housing Units Two(2)-Low Rise Buildings (LRB's) and Casa Crisostomo Phase 2 under the DOTr-PNR-South Long-Haul with 420 Housing Units Six(6) Low Rise Buildings (LRB's).
