PILIT TAYONG PINATATAHIMIK - REPORT THIS FAKE PAGE

Sa nakalipas na mga araw, napansin namin ang isang malinaw at organisadong pagtatangka upang patahimikin at Gayahin ang Gising Nueva Ecija.

May mga taong gumawa ng isang page na ginaya ang aming pangalan, logo, pagkakakilanlan, at maging ang ilan sa aming mga inilalathalang post. Hindi lamang nila kinopya ang aming identidad, nagkaroon pa sila ng mga mapanirang bagong post upang magmukhang sila ang lehitimong pahina.

Ngunit mas nakakabahala ang kanilang tunay na layunin.

Isa itong malinaw na pagtatangka upang manipulahin ang sistema at gamitin ito laban sa mismong biktima ng panggagaya.

Nakikiusap kami sa publiko: huwag agad maniwala na ang isang page ay tunay at lehitimo dahil lamang mayroon itong mga post na kahalintulad ng orihinal na post ng aming page. MANILA, Philippines — A page on the Philippine Senate website was reportedly defaced, with a group identifying itself as “Nullsec PH” claiming responsibility for the incident.

In a statement, the group said it has been monitoring developments in the government and called for greater transparency and accountability from public officials.

Reports indicated that unauthorized posts appeared on a section of the Senate website earlier in the day, prompting authorities to take immediate action.

Following the incident, the official Senate website was placed under maintenance while technical teams conducted an assessment and verification of what happened.

As of this writing, the Senate has not released a detailed statement regarding the extent of the incident or whether other parts of its system were affected.

An investigation is ongoing to determine how the defacement occurred and whether any security vulnerabilities were exploited.

The incident has also renewed discussions on the importance of cybersecurity and stronger protection measures for government digital platforms to prevent similar attacks in the future.

"ONE MONTH'S SALARY TO BE DONATED BY SOME SENATORS FOR MINDANAO!"

Members of the Gatchalian bloc have united in pledging their one-month salary to help families affected by the powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck parts of Mindanao on Monday.

In a statement, the Senate New Majority said they stand in solidarity with communities now facing the challenges of rescue operations, relief efforts, rehabilitation, and recovery from the devastation caused by the quake.

The group also invited their fellow senators to join the initiative in order to expand assistance for the victims.

Meanwhile, authorities continue their response and assessment operations in areas severely affected by the disaster.
