PRIDE BEYOND JUNE 🌈

Pride Month may have ended, but our commitment to advancing equality, inclusion, and SOGIESC education continues.

Last month, The Q***r Directive was honored to participate in two meaningful initiatives in celebration of Pride. For the second consecutive year, TQD joined the CSU-Gender and Development Office's SOGIESC Forum, engaging with students, student leaders, and partner organizations in conversations that foster understanding and inclusion.

TQD also had the privilege of speaking to public high school student leaders from across Butuan City on SOGIE during an initiative organized by the Agusan National High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (ANHS SSLG) and the Butuan City Division Federation of SSLGs at Robinsons Butuan.

We are grateful to our partners for creating spaces where meaningful conversations can take place. While Pride Month provides an important moment for visibility, the pursuit of inclusive schools, workplaces, and communities calls for sustained collaboration and action throughout the year.

TQD remains committed to supporting these efforts wherever opportunities to learn, listen, and lead arise. 🩷

The Q***r Directive is proud to announce its full endorsement of Arthur John Atup for CSU Main USG President and Student Regent.

Our advocacy for equality and inclusivity requires a leader who doesn't just understand the student body, but is equipped to fight for it. Having assessed the field, we believe Atup’s mastery of legislation and executive function makes him the definitive choice to lead. He is more than a competent candidate; he is a champion for the marginalized.

We also endorse the HIRAYA executive team: Maglasang (VP), Balbada (Treasurer), and Palma (Auditor). We trust in their collective vision to serve the student body with integrity.
