The People Power Volunteers for Reform (PPVR) Caraga proudly participated in ZFDโ€™s Peace and Arts Project organized by ZFD Philippines held in the beautiful Samal Island from May 10โ€“15, 2026.

Represented by Gerald Cabalan, Reggie Cubelo, Harvin Joaquino, and Gratz Obsioma, the activity became a meaningful avenue for youth leaders and advocates from different communities to come together in promoting peacebuilding, cultural understanding, creativity, and active youth participation through arts and collaborative engagements. Through interactive workshops, meaningful discussions, and artistic expressions, participants were encouraged to use their voices and talents as instruments for peace, solidarity, and social transformation.

The participation of PPVR Youth Caraga Region reflects its continued commitment to empowering young people to become catalysts of peace, responsible leadership, and community development.

1st Batch of the Youth Empowerment Peace Leadership Training conducted online via Zoom last May 16, 2026 by International Peace Youth Group Philippines and Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL). This webinar served as a meaningful platform for empowering young leaders to become advocates of peace, collaboration, and positive change within their respective communities.

Representing the PPVR Youth - Butuan City Chapter is Mr. John Rylle C. Bolongaita, proudly joined fellow youth leaders in strengthening leadership skills, promoting peacebuilding initiatives, and inspiring the youth to rise as active facilitators of unity and transformation.

On May 13, 2026, the People Power Volunteers for Reform (PPVR) Youth - Butuan City Chapter proudly participated in the Online Webinar conducted by the National Youth Commission - Cagayan de Oro and Butuan Area entitled โ€œLearning to Earning Pathways.โ€

The webinar emphasized the importance of empowering young people by creating accessible and youth-friendly opportunities for learning, upskilling, and career development. It served as a meaningful platform that encouraged the youth to enhance their knowledge, develop their skills, and prepare for greater opportunities in the future.

Representing the organization, John Rylle C. Bolongaita, Chairperson of People Power Volunteers for Reform (PPVR) Youth - Butuan City Chapter, actively participated in the activity on behalf of the organization.

PPVR Youth continues to stand in support of programs and initiatives that promote youth empowerment, leadership, and continuous growth towards building a more informed, skilled, and empowered generation.

The PPVR Youth โ€“ Butuan City Chapter Delegation actively participated in the seminar and workshop on โ€œRole of the Youth in Promoting a Free and Democratic Society: Empowering Youth Participation in the Upcoming SK Elections,โ€ conducted by the People Power Volunteers for Reform (PPVR) Caraga, held on April 10โ€“11, 2026 at Balanghai Hotel, Butuan City.

The activity served as a meaningful platform to strengthen the awareness, leadership capacity, and civic engagement of young leaders, emphasizing their vital role in promoting transparency, accountability, and active participation in the upcoming SK Elections. Through interactive discussions and collaborative learning sessions, the participants were empowered to become responsible advocates of democratic values and responsive youth governance in their respective communities.

The participation of the PPVR Youth โ€“ Butuan City Chapter Delegation reflects their continued commitment to supporting initiatives that promote clean, honest, and credible elections while inspiring fellow youth to take an active role in nation-building and community leadership.
