Bagani Hong Lawod , a heritage-based musical theater production , is now courageously preparing for its first public performance. Thousand of Butuanons and Caraganon and guest from the national agencies will merge to witness this Feb. 25,2026 ,7:00 PM GYM, Butuan City.

This is more than a show!

This is a comeback of a grand voyage of a community theater movement, led by Balangay Repertory Theatre Inc., with the support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Local Government of Butuan, spearheaded by Mayor Lawrence 'Law' Fortun .

From the river of our ancestors to the global stage, we now set sail , carrying the soul of Butuan, the fire of our heritage, and the courage of our people.

What was once whispered in prayer…
now rises as a living reality.
This is for every Butuanon.
And this is for the world.
