The 4th International Conference on Statistical Modeling and Software Applications was successfully conducted on May 6–8, 2026, bringing together researchers, statisticians, educators, and professionals from different institutions.

With the theme “Statistics Without Borders: Data-Driven Insights for Better Decisions,” the conference served as a meaningful platform for sharing innovative research, advanced statistical methodologies, and software applications that contribute to data-driven development and informed decision-making.

📊✨ Statistics Without Borders: Data-driven Insights for Better Decisions ✨📊

We are honored to feature 𝐃𝐫. 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at Universitas Gadjah Mada, as one of our plenary speakers. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Statistics under the supervision of experts in statistical theory at the University of Amsterdam and biometric recognition at the University of Twente. He later completed a professional program in Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo. His research bridges mathematics, statistics, and machine learning, applying them to real‑world challenges in health, behavior, logistics, and finance.

In his plenary talk, “From Statistical Modelling to Data-Driven Decision Systems: Applications in Insurance Risk and Finance,” Dr. Susyanto will share collaborative works with industry partners, showcasing how Bayesian models, portfolio optimization, and predictive analytics can transform insurance and financial decision‑support systems.

Meet our plenary speaker, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐦 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐳𝐞𝐛𝐝𝐚, a distinguished statistician, Full Professor at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France, and Director of the Research Laboratory in Applied Mathematics (LMAC). With a Ph.D. from Pierre and Marie Curie University, he has authored more than 170 peer‑reviewed articles and serves as Associate Editor for several international journals. His research spans censored data, functional data analysis, multivariate methods, extreme value theory, bootstrap techniques, and AI applications to high‑dimensional data.

In his plenary talk, “A Distribution-Free Nonparametric Test of Independence for Continuous Random Vectors Based on the L1-Norm,” Prof. Bouzebda will present a groundbreaking independence test with robust theoretical foundations and superior performance across diverse scenarios.
