2025 Intramural Chess Tournament
Guidelines:
1. Each Team can register up to 2 players for both Male and Female Category
2. Each registered player will play 10 rounds with different opponent decided by the pairing application so please notify you players to continue playing until the end for the pointing system will be based on the number of wins and losses.
3. The 10 rounds will be divided in to two categories and will be using Swiss System on Pairing. The Categories are as follows:
---Standard 30mins + 5s delay for Writing Notation
---Blitz 5mins + 3s Increment without notation
4. We will be using score sheets for the reporting of results therefore it is a must that all players must know how to write chess notation on for the Standard Category.
5. Pairing and scheduling of the games will only be possible after completing the registration or the current round of the game. For the coaches, please make sure that your registered players is aware of the posted updates.
5. Announcement of pairing, schedule, and results will be through different means:

Guidelines on the scheduled play
1. Please always be aware of the scheduled time, your opponent, and your piece color
2. Arrive at the designated venue before the allotted time, your asynchronous sched are already put into consideration before scheduling that is why a 15 min grace period before defaulting will be applied.
3. Bring with you your phone installed with a chess clock application. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chess.clock
4. Fill up the score sheet with the needed information, especially the Date, Board Number, Correct Color Designation of players, Notation(for standard only), Result, and players signature. Results can be void if not filled up correctly.
5. Make sure to always check the posted results for any possible error correction.
