ABOT-KAMAY: Kalinisan, Kalinga at Kabataan

The Rotaract Club of Marilao Champions proudly implements ABOT-KAMAY: Kalinisan, Kalinga at Kabataan, an initiative focused on promoting proper hand hygiene and making handwashing resources more accessible to children.

The project enhanced existing handwashing facilities through the installation of handwash dispensers positioned within the reach of children, together with the provision of an initial supply of liquid handwash. This allows children to access soap more easily and encourages them to practice proper handwashing as part of their daily routine.

Beyond providing supplies, the initiative was designed with sustainability in mind. The installed dispensers provide a dedicated and practical system for continued soap replenishment, allowing the facilities to remain functional beyond the initial implementation of the project.

Through ABOT-KAMAY, the club promotes the importance of cleanliness, accessibility, and healthy hygiene practices while demonstrating how a simple and practical intervention can contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment for children.

Making a difference begins with something as simple as making clean hands within reach.

The Rotaract Club of Marilao Champions proudly participated in Project TANIM (Tungo sa Ating Namamalaging Impact sa Marilao), an environmental initiative of the Rotary Club of Marilao Highlands, under the leadership of Pres. Mico Layug.

The project highlights the importance of collective action in promoting environmental sustainability and strengthening community involvement.

Together, we plant not only for today, but for a better tomorrow.

1ST OFFICERS’ MEETING | July 3, 2026

The Rotaract Club of Marilao Champions successfully conducted its 1st Officers’ Meeting on July 3, 2026. The meeting focused on aligning our officers and setting a clear direction for the club as we move forward with the new Rotary Year.

During the meeting, we discussed:
1. Club Status & Updates – reviewing the current standing and priorities of the club
2. Plans & Activities – mapping out upcoming projects, events, and club initiatives
3. Financial Matters – discussing the club’s budget, funds, and financial responsibilities
4. Roles & Responsibilities – clarifying each officer’s duties and expectations
5. Other Important Matters – addressing key concerns and details needed for a successful year

The meeting served as an opportunity for the officers to align on the club’s priorities, responsibilities, and plans for the year.

𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰.

Throughout the month, we had the opportunity to work alongside fellow Rotaractors, community partners, and local leaders in initiatives that promoted proper hygiene, created safer learning spaces, and contributed to a cleaner Marilao. Every project reminded us that meaningful change is made possible when people come together with one purpose, to serve.

As we look back on everything we've accomplished this July, we are reminded that every effort, no matter how big or small, becomes part of something greater when we serve together.

Basura Out, Bayanihan In: Sama-Samang Kilos para sa Mas Malinis na Marilao 🌱

Every lasting impact begins with a shared vision, but it is built by turning plans into action.

The ONE Marilao initiative marked its first community project through a clean-up drive in Barangay Nagbalon, where Rotaractors worked alongside barangay officials to remove sludge and accumulated waste obstructing sections of the drainage canals. By restoring the natural flow of water, this collective effort contributed to reducing flood risks while promoting a cleaner and safer environment for the community.

Every shovel of sludge removed, every bag of waste collected, and every helping hand extended reflected a shared commitment to protecting our environment and creating meaningful change through service.

ONE Marilao Meeting | June 15, 2026

Rotaract Club of Marilao Champions, Rotaract Club of Marilao Primero - RID 3770, and Rotaract Club of Marilao Circle.

Great things happen when people come together with the same purpose.

What started as a simple plan has grown into a commitment to work together in service of the Marilao community. Together, we are taking our best step forward to create meaningful and sustainable projects for the people of Marilao.

Because one club can accomplish many things, three clubs working as one can achieve so much more.

The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss the district's plans, key schedules, priorities, and goals, ensuring that every club president is equipped to lead with purpose and commitment.

As we begin this Rotary Year, we move forward united by one vision, to serve our communities, inspire our members, and create a lasting impact together.

DOPEST TRAINING

The Rotaract Club of Marilao Champions participated in the District Officers and Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (DOPEST) 2026 held on May 30, 2026, at Señor Mariano, Plaridel, Bulacan.

DOPEST was more than just a training, it was an opportunity to grow as leaders and prepare for the responsibilities that come with serving our club and our community. Through the sessions, we gained valuable insights on effective leadership, proper club management, strategic planning, and the importance of aligning every project and initiative with our club's vision and goals.

As we begin a new Rotaract year, we carry these learnings with us, knowing that strong leadership is built on preparation, teamwork, and a shared commitment.
