The Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (BCCI), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bulacan and in coordination with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), successfully conducted the multi-agency virtual seminar and forum entitled “Staying Ahead 2026: Labor, Benefits, and Compliance Updates for Employers” on May 26, 2026 via Zoom.

The seminar gathered business owners, HR practitioners, finance and payroll officers, compliance officers, and representatives from various establishments across Bulacan to receive the latest updates on labor laws, mandatory benefits, employer compliance requirements, contribution policies, and government programs affecting employers and employees.

The activity aimed to strengthen employer awareness and compliance with labor and social protection policies while promoting stronger collaboration between the private sector and government agencies.

Resource speakers from SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, and DOLE discussed recent policy updates, contribution guidelines, digital services, labor advisories, and compliance requirements relevant to employers. Open forum sessions were also conducted to provide participants with the opportunity to raise questions and clarify concerns directly with agency representatives.

Representatives from various Pag-IBIG branches, including Baliuag and Meycauayan, also participated in the open forum to assist in addressing inquiries specific to employers and members under their respective jurisdictions.

Through initiatives such as this, BCCI continues its commitment to empowering the business community through timely information dissemination, capacity-building activities, and strengthened public-private sector collaboration toward responsible and compliant business operations.

The Chamber extends its sincerest gratitude to all partner agencies, resource speakers, participating branch representatives, and attendees for their valuable time, support, and active participation which contributed to the success of this activity. BCCI likewise thanks the Provincial Government of Bulacan for its continued partnership in promoting programs that benefit the business sector and workforce in the province.

The Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (BCCI), in coordination with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) North Luzon, successfully hosted the PCCI North Luzon Area General Membership Meeting (GMM) and the Bulacan leg of the 35th North Luzon Area Business Conference (NLABC) Roadshow on May 19, 2026 at Palacio Real de Sto. Niño, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

The event gathered business leaders, local chambers, government officials, and stakeholders from across North Luzon to strengthen collaboration, promote MSME development, and discuss initiatives supporting regional economic growth. The activity also featured a heritage side tour of Barasoain Church and selected heritage houses in Malolos, showcasing the city’s rich historical and cultural significance.

Highlights of the program included inspirational messages from distinguished government and PCCI officials, the presentation of the 35th NLABC Roadshow, and a Seminar on Cyber Hygiene, which provided participants with practical insights on digital safety and cybersecurity awareness.

More than just a meeting, the gathering became a celebration of leadership, partnership, heritage, and a shared vision for North Luzon’s business community. From the inspiring messages of our guest speakers to the meaningful conversations and heritage tour around Malolos, the event served as a strong reminder of the value of collaboration and community in advancing regional growth and development.

The successful conduct of the event was made possible through the collective support of participating chambers, partners, sponsors, and stakeholders, further reinforcing the importance of public-private collaboration in promoting inclusive and sustainable development across North Luzon.
