𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LCC Teacher Education Division Celebrated First Day of Division Week
The LCC Teacher‑Education Division successfully held the first day of its Division Week on October 7, 2026, at the LCC Grandstand, under the theme “One Division, Four Year Levels, One Mission: Preparing Future Educators for Excellence.”
The celebration began with a Zumba led by EDUCARE officers, followed by the singing of Lupang Hinirang. The opening remarks were delivered by the LCC CEAS Dean and Teacher-Education Division Head, Dr. Noime F. Magpantay. The Division officers‑in‑charge then facilitated Larong May Bitaw, featuring Tug of War, Calamansi Relay, Sack Race, and Caterpillar Balloon. The intermission numbers were held between performances during the Yell and Banner Competition, followed by the Muse and Es**rt presentation. The judges for both events were Mr. John Carlo Tapas, Ms. Khelly Ann Buala, and Ms. Edeltrudes Advincula.
In the afternoon, the division held a seminar titled “From Student to Professional: The Journey of Becoming a Teacher” for first-year and second-year students. Mr. Mark Ian Bunyog, the seminar speaker, reminded the pre-service teachers of their responsibility to honor the profession they have chosen. He also emphasized the importance of developing not only the ability to share knowledge but also empathy toward the future students they will handle. The seminar concluded with the presentation of a certificate and token of appreciation to Mr. Bunyog.
The day concluded with the Ms. Kween & Eyy pageant under the theme “Empowered in Mind, Confident in Voice, Inspiring in Every Answer”. Mr. Rogel Sagdon, Mr. Luis V. Santiago, and Ms. Khelly Ann S. Buala served as the judges for the pageant. After the pageant, the certificates and tokens of recognition were then given to the judges.
