ATI Bicol is looking for Organic Agriculture (OA) Interns and farm partners in Region 5 for the Youth Internship Program on Organic Agriculture (YIPOA).

YIPOA is a specialized internship program designed to instill and cultivate an appreciation for organic agriculture (OA). This 21-month program immerses youth in the "life of a farmer" and the principles of organic farming.
The internship program comprises:
• Nine months of schooling and on-site training with farm partners.
• One year of hands-on training, including the practice and implementation of a proposed organic enterprise.

Empowering the Youth in Agriculture

The LGU Bula, through the Municipal Agriculture Office, successfully conducted a Training on Free-Range Chicken Production for the 4-H Club members last August 13, 2025 at the People’s Training Hall, Bula, Camarines Sur.

Special thanks to Mr. Ronnie T. Purisima, RAgr –Technical Staff of the Livestock Program, Department of Agriculture Region V, for sharing practical tips and techniques on Management of Free-Range Chicken Production. and Dr. Clarita P. Borela, DVM – Assistant Professor I, Department of Veterinary Medicine, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, for providing in-depth knowledge on the Common Diseases of Free-Range Chicken and their prevention.
