A fun and meaningful day was shared by the students of Cabantian National High School as they came together to celebrate teamwork, friendship, and creativity. This moment shows how students can enjoy activities while also learning the importance of unity and being part of a positive school community. 💙✨

One of the highlights of the event was the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Video Competition, where students showed their talents and ideas in promoting a drug-free lifestyle. We proudly congratulate the winners—Champion: Grade 8, and First Placer: Grade 10! 🎉 Your creativity and teamwork truly stood out and inspired everyone.

On March 20, 2026, the SK Assembly successfully held a lively and impactful Drug Awareness Symposium at CountryHomes Gym, bringing together youth to raise awareness and take a stand against illegal drugs.

The highlight of the event was the presence of a Police Corporal from Buhangin Police Station, who served as the guest speaker. With authority and real-life insights, the speaker shared valuable knowledge about the dangers of illegal drugs, their effects on individuals and communities, and the importance of staying disciplined and making the right choices. The talk was both informative and inspiring, capturing the attention of everyone in the venue.

Participants actively engaged in the discussions, showing enthusiasm and willingness to learn. The atmosphere was filled with energy as the youth listened, reflected, and realized their important role in building a drug-free community. The symposium not only raised awareness but also strengthened the commitment of everyone present to stay away from harmful influences.

More than just an event, it became a powerful reminder that the youth are the hope of the nation. With proper guidance, knowledge, and strong values, they can lead the way toward positive change.

LOOK | Mangrove Tree Planting Activity

On March 7, 2026 the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) together with other student organizations of Cabantian National High School actively participated in a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity held along the shoreline of Lasang, Davao City.

The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, coastal protection, and community involvement in preserving marine ecosystems. With enthusiasm, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility, the participants worked together to plant mangrove seedlings that will help protect the shoreline and support marine life.

Despite the muddy surroundings and challenging conditions, the students and volunteers remained committed to the task, working hand in hand to ensure that every seedling was carefully planted. Their efforts reflect the dedication of the youth in taking part in meaningful environmental initiatives.

Through actions like this, the community continues to take steps toward a greener and more sustainable future. 🌱🌊

Today, March 6, 2026, the Barkada Kontra Droga Call of Duty: Mobile - Battle Royale Tournament was successfully held, bringing together players who showcased their skills in strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The event served not only as a competition but also as a reminder that the youth can engage in positive and meaningful activities that promote a drug-free and healthy community.
