For Prayers and Evangelism Plan, consider this...
January is a Bible month in the Philippines. It was formerly observed from November 1982 to 1985. The proclamation was reinforced then in the late 80's stating that the nation should embrace the practice of reading the βBible,β which words empower the nation to live with hope in difficult times. It was signed into law and assigned the last Monday of January as the official date for the celebration of National Bible Day.
In January 5, 2017, however, it was declared under Proclamation No. 124 by the Philippine President that for every year, the month of January will be National Bible Month. So we now have a whole month, instead, of proclaiming the Gospel and reminding the Filipino people of the primacy of Godβs Word over our lives and decisions by all possible means. Consequently, on December 20, 2018, it was signed into law under the Republic Act 11163 to be implemented nationwide.
