🏆 TRUE CHAMPIONSHIP 🏆

Yesterday, our school was crowned champion at the DLC competition.
The joy was overflowing — we shouted, we celebrated, and the reactions during the announcement will forever be part of our memories. These moments are experiences we will always carry with us.

And while I was driving home, I found myself reflecting… and here’s what God revealed to me:

✨ Honors give us recognition — showing that God favors us.
✨ Money shows that God blesses and provides for us.
✨ Pleasures help us enjoy the things God has given.
✨ Trophies symbolize victory — being the best of the best.

All of these are good. All of these are blessings from God.
But they are also temporary.
They make us happy, but not completely fulfilled.

Because as Christians, we are running a much bigger race — a race that goes beyond medals, applause, and awards.

Just as the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 9:24–25:
“Run in such a way as to get the prize… They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”

🏅 Our true championship is finishing the race of life with Christ.
🏅 Our real trophy is the eternal crown that He alone can give.

So yes, let’s celebrate our achievements and victories…
But let’s also remember the ultimate goal:
To live a life that honors God and to finish the race He set before us. ❤️

Romans 5:7
“Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person… but God showed His love by giving His Son for us even when we were still sinners.”

Sometimes we feel unworthy or not “good enough” for God.
But this verse reminds me that Jesus didn’t wait for us to be perfect—
He loved us at our worst. ❤️
His love isn’t earned. It’s given. And it’s real.

I just want to share the message I read today.
I titled it “SEEING THROUGH FAITH.”

Matthew 9:28–29
“Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they replied.
Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you.”

This is the story of the two blind men whose eyesight Jesus restored.

There are moments when we pray and, deep inside, we know that God can answer our prayers…
but sometimes a small voice whispers:

“Am I worthy?”
“Will God listen to me even if I have sinned?”
“Is this still possible? I feel like I’m stuck in a hole I can’t get out of.”

We do not doubt God’s power—
we doubt whether He will help us,
especially when we know we are partly responsible for the situation we’re in.

I’ve asked the same questions myself.

But while reading this passage, I stopped at Jesus’ question to the blind men:
“Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
Those words hit me so hard. I literally got goosebumps and cried.
Because if God asked us the same question today… what would we answer?

Do we truly believe that He can do what we are asking for?

Then it struck me…
God is not the one who falls short—we are.
The Lord’s instruction is simple:
“Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
But many times, it is our faith that is lacking, not His power.

God answers prayers according to our faith.
Often, we are simply too blind to see what He can do.

And when Jesus said,
“According to your faith, let it be done to you,”
it felt like my own eyes were opened.

I realized that God has a stubborn, persistent love.
Even when we forget Him…
even when we push Him away…
He still comes back.
He still reaches out.
He still loves us.

All He asks is this:
BELIEVE.
HAVE FAITH.
BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD.
Because truly—nothing is impossible for Him.

Humility and Self-Reflection

There was a time when I poured all my efforts into impressing others—seeking applause, compliments, and validation. I wanted to be recognized, to be appreciated. But as I grew closer to God, I began to think less of myself and more of Him.

Who gave us our talents? Who blessed us with wisdom and abilities? Without God, I am nothing.

It used to hurt when people failed to appreciate what I did. One mistake seemed to overshadow all the good things I had done. The pursuit of human approval was exhausting and disappointing. But when I shifted my focus to God, everything changed. Instead of seeking recognition from people, I found peace in knowing that my efforts were seen by Him.

Now, in everything I do, I give my best—not for applause, but as an offering to God. And in this journey, I’ve also learned to appreciate the efforts of others. Their work may not always be perfect, but it is their best, and that alone is worth recognizing.

I thank God for my growth. I thank Him for teaching me that true fulfillment comes not from impressing people, but from dedicating everything to Him.

God’s Protection Over Our Home

Last night, while we were having dinner, our cat started making strange noises, as if it was fighting something. My children and I didn’t pay much attention at first, but my husband noticed something unusual near the drum where we placed our used clothes. Our back door is close to the comfort room, and in one corner, there’s a small hole—so tiny that we never imagined anything significant could pass through it.

By God’s grace, a small cardboard happened to be blocking the passage behind the drum, leading to our comfort room. We had placed it there earlier while cleaning, pausing only to eat dinner. Little did we know that this small detail, seemingly insignificant, would serve as a shield of protection.

When my husband moved closer to investigate, he was shocked to find a large snake—thick as my 8-year-old’s arms—right there, confronting our cat. Fear crept in, but instead of panicking, I fixed my eyes on the snake as it slowly retreated, disappearing back through the tiny hole it had entered from.

In that moment, I knew without a doubt that God was watching over us. My eldest daughter had been suffering from diarrhea that night and had been passing by that very spot frequently. If the cardboard had not been there, the snake could have easily made its way into our bathroom. But God, in His faithfulness, had already put everything in place to keep us safe.

Rather than giving in to fear, I chose to exercise my faith. I spoke to God, declaring that no harm would come upon my family and that the snake would never return. And indeed, it left, just as I had prayed.

That night, we were reminded that God’s protection is ever-present, even in ways we do not immediately see. He orders our steps, shields us from danger, and ensures that no harm comes near us. All glory and thanks to Him for His unfailing love and protection!
