Guimaras State University (GSU) is set for University Week 2026 from June 2 to 6, 2026, carrying the theme βHiliugyon 2026: One Heart, One Goal, One GSU.β
The days ahead carry the character of return and reunion, where the university community assembles within the same shared grounds, each arriving with their own account of time spent away, yet finding themselves drawn into a common gathering.
Hiliugyon bears the temperament of unity formed through endurance and familiarity. It speaks of a community long acquainted with one anotherβs efforts, where cooperation is neither rare nor remarkable, yet remains the very condition by which the institution continues to sustain itself.
In light of this, GSU extends its invitation to all members of its community to partake in the observance, their presence lending fullness to each occasion and meaning to the whole.
Ultimately, University Week 2026 shall bring together these dispersed threads of academic life and render them, if only for a time, into a single harmonious whole: one heart, one goal, one GSU.
