The Barangay East Valencia Council, led by Punong Barangay Shem C. Fernandez, together with the Coast Guard and GSU Criminology Interns, joined forces for a successful coastal clean-up at Sitio Proper, East Valencia, Buenavista, Guimaras—collecting several sacks of garbage and taking a step toward preserving our marine environment.

This meaningful activity is part of the Karera de Vela Festival 2026, showing that celebration and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
