Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Our hope is not based on shifting circumstances or fading things of this world, but on the risen Christ who conquered death. Because He lives, we have a living hope, secure, enduring, and unshakable. No matter how dark life feels, this hope assures us of a future filled with God’s promises.

Whatever is weighing on your heart today, hand it over to God. Anxiety fades when we shift our focus from worry to worship. Pray honestly, give thanks even in the tension, and trust that God hears every word.

We all have plans in our lives. But no matter what our plans may be, it’s the Lord’s that prevail. Nothing can stop it. If he intends for something to happen, it will. Have confidence in Him, that when our plans fail to happen, His will prosper.
