The Talibon Youth Development Council, together with the Local Youth Development Office, proudly presents the different competitions for the Talibon Youth DigiFest. These exciting activities aim to showcase the creativity, talents, and skills of the youth in the community.

The contests include the Video Making Contest, Photography Contest, Balak/Garay Contest, and Painting Contest. Each competition is designed to encourage young individuals to express their passion, imagination, and artistic abilities.

These contests are exclusively open to Talibon residents aged 15 to 30 years old only. Participants are encouraged to join and take this opportunity to share their talents and represent their creativity through their chosen category.

📸 YOUTH DATA SUMMIT HIGHLIGHTS
DAY 1 – Program Proper

The first day of the Youth Data Summit focused on promoting data-driven governance for youth development. Marianelli O. Buno, RPm, LYDO, emphasized that the summit ensures programs for Talibongnon youth are reliable and meaningful through accurate data.

Key discussions included KK Profiling Overview by Ms. Jessa Cutarra, SK Federated President Secretary, and Youth Organization Registration by Ms. Princess Balonga, LYDO Staff- Youth Sector, highlighting the importance of proper youth data and organization recognition. Michael B. Cabanag, MLGOO, delivered key messages on Data, stressing responsible handling of information.

The session began with an ice breaker and highlighted that “Data gathering affects decision-making and leaders are lifted by the results of their decisions,” reinforcing the value of evidence-based leadership.

DAY 1- Registration & Preliminaries

The first day of the Data Youth Summit 2026 opened with a structured program focused on youth engagement in data-driven initiatives. Hon. Rechelle Mae Daan, SK Federation Treasurer, delivered a warm welcome address, emphasizing the importance of young people in shaping communities through informed decision-making and reminding participants that “A leader is a lifetime.”

Hon. John Carlo Aparra followed with opening remarks highlighting collaboration, innovation, and youth leadership, stressing how data can help address community challenges. Ms. Meccaila P. De La Torre then presented the rationale, explaining the summit’s goals of promoting data literacy and responsible information use. Bianca Nicole Boquila introduced the participants, fostering a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. Overall, the first day set a strong foundation, inspiring youth to become informed and proactive leaders using data for positive change.

We are excited to share the official list of registered participants for the upcoming Youth Data Summit on April 25-26, 2026. Along with the mandatory presence of the SK Federation - Talibon Chapter and the TYDC - Talibon Youth Development Council.

📍Registration will take place from 7:30 to 8:00 AM at the Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Multi-Purpose Hall (Old SB Session Hall), 2nd Floor of the Municipal Hall of Talibon. We encourage everyone to arrive on time for a smooth start.

‎The LGU of Talibon recognizes agriculture as a vital pillar of local economic development and highlights the youth as key partners in community development and nation-building.

‎In line with this, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office, invites the youth to join the ”FARMERS FIELD SCHOOL ON VEGETABLE PRODUCTION FOR YOUNG FARMERS."
‎
‎ 🌾 Be part of a season-long hands-on training program (actual field training!) and gain practical knowledge and skills in vegetable production—from land preparation, seed selection, crop management, pest control, to harvesting and marketing.
