Philippine Flag Disposal Ceremony ๐ต๐ญ๐ซก
Lolomboy National High School held a solemn Philippine Flag Disposal Ceremony today, in accordance with the National Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines (RA 8491). This important tradition ensures that worn-out flags are retired with dignity and respect, honoring the symbol of our nation.
The ceremony was led by the LNHS Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, with the support of the school community in promoting patriotism and ensuring proper observance of flag protocols.
As the flames consumed the folded flags, the ceremony reminded us that the Philippine flag is more than fabricโit is a symbol of freedom, unity, and strength, and a tribute to the sacrifices of our forefathers.
For the young minds present, it was a powerful lesson: our flag deserves the highest respect, even at the end of its journey. ๐ต๐ญ
