🎉 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BITAW/LETGO 🎉

On this day, one year ago, the short film 𝘉𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘸/𝘓𝘦𝘵𝘨𝘰 premiered at Lake Shore Colleges during the event.

A mixed media film, it blends animation with live action as it follows the story of 𝘎𝘢𝘣 𝘚𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘦𝘻 dealing with the fear of change as she enters high school.

In addition to showcasing the talents from Guhit Lakeshorean's own filmmaking department, 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘰 𝘛𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘯, the movie uses animation to portray Gab's anxiety and depression.

And as we commemorate this occasion, we look back on the talent and dedication that went into the film as well as the fun times that were shared during production.

𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗘𝗫𝗛𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 ✨ The long-awaited Guhit Lakeshorean art event is finally happening this March 12 to 13 only at Lake Shore Colleges! In collaboration with all the talented artists of Biñan City Senior High School—Sto. Tomas Campus! 👩‍🎨🎨

“𝒜𝓃𝒾 𝓃𝑔 𝒮𝒾𝓃𝒾𝓷𝑔: 𝒟𝒾𝓌𝒶 𝒶𝓉 𝒟𝒶𝓂𝒹𝒶𝓶𝒾𝓷" will be the main theme of the event following the celebration of National Arts Month. This two-day event will feature a PAINTING and GRAPHITE art competition on DAY 1 and a paid entry ART GALLERY on DAY 2. ✨

FOR ART COMP (DAY 1):

Open for all the students of LSC.

Pre-registration starts on March 4 and runs until March 10.

• Painting Competition

- A five-hour (5 hours) long ON THE SPOT PLEIN PAINTING competition

- The first 30 contestants will be given a free canvas.

- An open art materials medium competition (can use watercolor, oil painting, acrylic paint, etc., except graphite)

• Graphite Competition

- A five-hour (5 hours) long ON THE SPOT PLEIN GRAPHITE ART to be done on Vellum

FOR ART GALLERY (DAY 2):

This art gallery will highlight the artistic creations of BCSHS-Sto. Tomas artists and participating Lakeshoreans.

- A paid entry art gallery worth 20 PHP

- An Insta-worthy place to visit

- This art gallery is an open-themed gallery mainly following the theme "Ani ng Sining: Diwa at Damdamin." If you wish to participate, you can submit your already-made works in any medium or submit a new art following the theme. 🌟
