The BiPSU DOST-ISKO Organization has successfully conducted the ISKO Cares: BiPSU Campus Clean-Up Drive 2026!

On March 30, 2026, our dedicated DOST scholars came together to clean and beautify the BiPSU Main Campus, Naval, Biliran. It was a day filled with hard work, teamwork, and genuine love for our campus community.

As DOST scholars, we prove that excellence is not only measured in academics but also in how we serve and care for the people and environment around us.

Thank you to all the Mga Isko at Iska who participated and gave their time and effort for this activity. You make us proud! 🫶

Fʀᴏᴍ Aꜱᴘɪʀᴀɴᴛꜱ ᴛᴏ Nᴀᴛɪᴏɴ Bᴜɪʟᴅᴇʀꜱ! ✨

On February 21-22, 2026, over 200 aspiring scholars from Biliran Island and nearby areas of Leyte gathered at Biliran Province State University to take the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination. With tens of thousands of examinees nationwide and only limited slots granted, the competition was undeniably fierce, but so was the determination in every room.

Two days. Countless dreams. One opportunity to rise.

A heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated scholar-volunteers for their service and commitment throughout the activity. Special thanks as well to the DOST Provincial Science and Technology Office, especially Dr. Romy Dignos and Engr. Cathy Borja Gonda-Maniba, for spearheading and administering the examination with excellence and integrity.

To all examinees, your courage to take the exam is already a victory. May your hard work bear fruit, and may we soon welcome you as the next generation of DOST scholars and future nation builders.

Our organization proudly participated in the University Organization Day yesterday, February 13, 2026, in celebration of the 7th BiPSU Day!

The day began with a heartfelt Mass and a vibrant campus parade that set the perfect tone for celebrating innovation and scholar excellence. Our booth was more than just a display; it was an immersive experience designed to inspire and engage. From our beautifully curated accomplishment wall and captivating video showcase to our interactive STEM Digital Quiz that challenged minds and sparked curiosity, we witnessed genuine enthusiasm from every corner. Watching visitors light up as they tested their knowledge was the real victory.

To keep things fun and timely, our Valentine's Edition QR Wall brought creativity and connection to life; because science and love both deserve celebration! And of course, our comprehensive DOST magazines and brochures ensured that every visitor left inspired and informed about the incredible opportunities waiting in the STEM world.

It’s official! Last February 12, 2026, BIPSU DOST-ISKO successfully renewed its recognition at Biliran Province State University!
A huge shoutout to our dedicated officers led by Hon. Laven Cañezo for their incredible teamwork and diligence in the renewal process. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our advisers, Ma’am Maricel Saulan and Sir Erwin G. Salvatierra, for their constant support and guidance.

ISKO, which stands for Innovative Scholars for Knowledge and Outreach, defines who we are and what we stand for. As DOST-SEI scholars, we are committed not only to academic excellence but also to innovation, leadership, and meaningful service to the community.

𝗟𝗘𝗬𝗧𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣! 💔

Typhoon Tino has displaced many families across Eastern Visayas — leaving homes without electricity, water, food, and shelter. One of the most heavily affected areas is Silago, Southern Leyte, which is now in survival mode after the catastrophic landfall of the typhoon. The damage is extensive — homes and infrastructures were destroyed across several barangays, roads remain impassable due to landslides and fallen trees, and clean water and food are now scarce.

Despite the devastation, the people of Silago are deeply grateful that no casualties were reported — a result of the force evacuations carried out before the storm. 🙏🏼 To extend help to our kababayans, 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐑 (Region VIII Association of DOST Scholars for Advancement and Response) is launching 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐑𝐀𝐆, a donation drive for the victims of Typhoon Tino in Eastern Visayas — in coordination with Miss Universe Philippines-Leyte. 🤝

✨ A little goes a long way. Every peso, every pack, every prayer — all contribute to easing the burden of those who are now rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
