From the START
Every year, a group of volley addicts and volunteers put their time training C4ES volleyball athletes for their annual athletic meets. They believed that being part of such organized sports event can teach values and life lessons that these kids can use in their teenage years and beyond. And as a result, C4ES volley players consistently on top of their competitions. From this act
of volunteerism, the group aspires for more opportunities where the young and adults could enjoy and develop their skills. They want to start up an organization and host several social and fundraising events throughout the year. The ORGANIZATION
CAMP 4 Volleyball is an organization which provides character-building programs and recreational competition opportunities. We are committed to the development and empowerment of future leaders by using volleyball as a tool to improve health, develop life skills and values, and to become well-rounded, productive members of the community. We intend to foster community spirit to bring people together by playing volleyball. LEADING-OFF a mini-cup
Over the years, we’ve seen how several group operates sports events, and in particular, basketball is what they value most. There are many things that these groups do to benefit the community by playing such sport, but no group does for volleyball. With that perception, we came up with the idea to put back the excitement of playing volley by kicking-off a mini-tourney. THE FUNDRAISING TOURNEY
The intent of the tune-up game is for everyone to have lots of fun. In that spirit, they have maximized the games played and opted for a shorter round of games. The matches were played using double-elimination format With four participating teams ̶ the team of CENTRAL, the group of BORTON, the brotherhood from NATIONAL and the squad of MARAMAL ̶ the team from Sitio Maramal maintained their zero loss record and took home the prize as the champion. Our group is compiled of individuals with great passion for volleyball. We are all grateful for our efforts came into success and we acknowledge that CAMP 4 VOLLEYBALL’s existence is due to the support of participants and the community. Nevertheless, we are all excited to bring more exciting events and causes that only the game of volleyball can bring to the community.
