The ๐˜๐’๐‹๐„๐ Scholars served during the FCIC First Friday Mass, we were reminded that real happiness doesnโ€™t come from chasing pleasures it comes from living with purpose and trusting in Godโ€™s plan.โค๏ธ

Rev. Fr. Lito Doguiles asked us to reflect: โ€œWhat truly makes us happy?โ€ He encouraged us to dream with direction, because the vision of who we want to become can shape our future. But those dreams only come alive through faith, perseverance, and the courage to carry our daily cross.

Most importantly, we discovered the beauty of the Prayer of Abandonment entrusting everything to God and saying with confidence: โ€œLord, Your will be done.โ€

Happiness is not about getting everything we want, but about trusting that God knows what we truly need. When we surrender our plans to Him, He leads us to something far greater than we could ever imagine.

๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | On July 22, 2026, the Youth Servant Leaders (YSL) joined the Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception (FCIC) to launch its 80th anniversary celebration. This marked the start of a year-long Jubilee with the theme โ€œMoving Forward Together to 80 Years and Beyond.โ€

The event united the FCIC community in gratitude for Godโ€™s guidance over eight decades of Franciscan education. Highlights included a Thanksgiving Mass, a grand procession, the lighting of the 80th Anniversary Cauldron, and the unveiling of a commemorative logo. Distinguished guests also shared uplifting messages that honored FCICโ€™s legacy while pointing toward a hopeful future. Through this milestone, FCIC reaffirmed its mission to form Christ-centered, compassionate, and competent individuals dedicated to serving the Church, the nation, and the world.
