To all SK Chairpersons: A Call for True Public Service
If public service isn’t truly your calling, then you should never have run for office in the first place. It is disheartening to witness the neglect coming from some of our elected youth leaders—leaders who were entrusted with the responsibility of uplifting the very sector they are meant to represent.
When you assumed this position, you knew exactly what you signed up for: to serve, to lead, and to be the voice of the youth. Turning your back on this duty is not only a betrayal of public trust but also a reflection of your own character.
Doesn’t it bother you that your inaction tarnishes your reputation, not just as a leader, but as an individual? Public service is not about prestige or title—it is about commitment, accountability, and genuine concern for the people you vowed to serve.
The youth deserve leaders who lead with integrity, not ones who treat their position as a mere stepping stone.
