Agad na rumesponde ang Bureau of Fire Protection โ€“ Pilar Fire Station, katuwang ang Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, lokal na pamahalaan, at iba pang responding agencies, upang tugunan ang sitwasyon at matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga residenteng naapektuhan.

The Bureau of Fire Protection โ€“ Pilar Fire Station, under the leadership of Regional Director ๐—™๐’๐—ฆ๐—จ๐—ฃ๐—ง ๐๐„๐‘๐๐€๐‘๐ƒ ๐“ ๐‘๐Ž๐’๐„๐“๐„, ๐——๐—ฆ๐—–, participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill conducted today, September 3, 2026.

The activity forms part of the continuing efforts of the BFP to strengthen preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities during active attack incidents and other emergencies that may occur within school settings.

The drill provided an opportunity to test established emergency procedures and enhance coordination among fire and rescue personnel, law enforcement agencies, local government units, school authorities, and other partner agencies. It emphasized the importance of immediate, organized, and coordinated action in protecting learners, teachers, and school personnel during emergencies.

More than simply testing procedures, the activity served as a reminder that preparedness is a shared responsibility. Knowing what to do, where to go, and how to respond during an emergency can make a significant difference in saving lives.

The Pilar Fire Station remains committed to working hand in hand with schools, communities, and partner agencies in promoting a strong culture of preparedness and building safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready communities.

Personnel of Pilar Fire Station โ€“ BFP, in coordination with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and Motorcycle Patrol, conducted a joint rescue operation for the evacuation of residents affected by flooding at Sitio Manggahan, Brgy. Panilao, Pilar, Bataan.

The operation focused on ensuring the safe and orderly evacuation of residents to designated evacuation areas, particularly those in flood-affected and difficult-to-access areas.

As part of the prescribed seven (7)-day mode of activities, the Pilar Fire Station successfully conducted Recreational Activity under the leadership of ๐…๐’๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐๐„๐‘๐๐€๐‘๐ƒ ๐“ ๐‘๐Ž๐’๐„๐“๐„, DSC, Acting Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 3, under the supervision of ๐…๐’๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐„๐‘๐๐„๐’๐“๐Ž ๐’ ๐๐€๐†๐ƒ๐€๐๐†๐€๐, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal of Bataan, and with the guidance of SFO4 Maria Theresa A Andrade, Municipal Fire Marshal.

The activity gave personnel an opportunity to unwind while enhancing their concentration, and decision-making skills through a friendly game called "Beautiful Minds".
