After last year’s successful 5-day implementation, we’re returning with the 2-Day Science Edition, bringing hands-on learning and inspiration back to the children of Cabunbata Elementary School, Isabela City, Basilan.

We’re back with the same mission, the same heart, and the same commitment to uplift young learners through science and education. 💛📚

In celebration of the 𝘍𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢 𝘈𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘯𝘢 𝘊𝘪𝘶𝘥𝘢𝘥 𝘥𝘦 𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘢 𝘥𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯 2025: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 175𝘵𝘩 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢 𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘭 𝘥𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘭, the Local Government Unit of Isabela de Basilan under the inclusive leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) led by Ms. Nor-aina Asmara with the full support of the City Tourism Office proudly brings you the 𝗔𝗞𝗕𝗔𝗬 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔: 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻.

This event is a transformative initiative dedicated to advancing the rights and well-being of street children in our city. As we honor our cherished patroness, Santa Isabel de Portugal, this endeavor exemplifies our collective commitment to empathy, equity and inclusive development, enriching the spirit of fiesta through purposeful service to our most vulnerable members of our society.

This will take place on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 3, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 9:𝟬𝟬𝗔𝗠 onwards at the 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗮, 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝘁., 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻.

In light of the 1-year anniversary of KITAb—first of all, we all thank those who have helped us throughout this journey—the people who made this project possible. To the kids for making this experience a memorable one. We are truly honored to be given this opportunity, and we sincerely thank everyone who supported us.

Lastly, KITAb not only helped us share our knowledge to everyone. But it also helped us in making an effort to have an influence with a purpose—a purpose of bringing literacy to Isabela City. Without our platform and everyone’s help—all of this couldn’t have been achieved.
