Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 | Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly

Wrapping up the celebration, SK Chairperson Albert Luel Regahal presided over the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly at the barangay covered court.

The gathering was organized to give the youth of our barangay the opportunity to raise their concerns, share their ideas, and gain a clear understanding of the programs, plans, and services the SK has in store for them.

The activity also served as an open platform where every young resident could voice their thoughts, engage in meaningful dialogue, and actively participate in shaping the future of our community.

Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 | Laro ng Lahi

Following our tree planting activity yesterday, August 30, 2026, the PYAP and SK Council of Barangay San Fernando also organized a Laro ng Lahi event to bring joy and fun to the children of our barangay as part of our Linggo ng Kabataan celebration.

This activity featured a variety of traditional Filipino games, giving the kids the chance to play, interact, and experience our beloved Laro ng Lahi.

Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 | Tree Planting Activity at Brgy. San Fernando, Basey, Samar

As part of the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration, the Officers and Members of PYAP San Fernando Chapter joined the tree planting activity held yesterday, August 30, 2026.

Together with our Barangay Officials, SK Officials, and youth volunteers led by SK Chairperson Albert Luel Regahal, we successfully planted a variety of saplings across the barangay’s highlands. This activity is part of our ongoing conservation efforts and will greatly benefit our local environment.

After nine months of dedicated service, PYAP San Fernando Chapter is proud to announce our very first milestone as we have been recognized as one of the Most Outstanding PYAP Chapters in Basey.

Receiving this award is truly overwhelming for us, as it marks our very first achievement since the chapter was established.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us along the way, this milestone would not have been possible without your unwavering support.

Coastal Clean-Up Drive | August 1, 2026.

Before the month comes to an end, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. San Fernando led by our SK Chairperson Albert Luel Regahal conducted a feeding program in celebration for the Nutrition Month.

Installing Ovitraps: An effort to monitor mosquitos and control chikungunya outbreak in Brgy. San Fernando

Yesterday, July 14, 2026, PYAP Officers together with our SK Chairperson Albert Luel Regahal took time installing ovitraps necessary to monitor and control chikungunya outbreak in the barangay.

Survey for Chikungunya | July 8-9 2026.

In order to trace possible infections of the Chikungunya Virus, PYAP Officers and Members participated in a two-day survey activity conducted across Brgy. San Fernando.

Organized in coordination with the Rural Health Unit, Local Barangay Health Workers and Brgy. Officials, the initiative aimed to identify suspected cases, map high-risk areas, and raise awareness about the mosquito-borne disease.

Equipped with survey forms, the youth leaders went door-to-door to interview residents, checking for key symptoms of the disease.

They also recorded household details, inspected premises for potential mosquito breeding sites including stagnant water in containers, gutters, and discarded tires, and provided guidance on proper sanitation and vector control measures.

This effort is crucial as Chikungunya can spread quickly and early detection helps prevent larger outbreaks.

Pledge of Commitment | IDADAIT 2026

The PYAP Officers and Members joined the pledge-taking activity in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT), affirming their commitment to promote a drug-free, safe, and healthy community.

The activity were also participated by Barangay Officials, Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, Barangay Health Workers, Lupons, Barangay Tanods and other Barangay workers.
