Today, we are reminded that prayer is not a monologue, but a dialogue with God. It is not just us talking, but God listening and answering. That is why prayer is not optional, it is necessary. It is the only way for us to build trust and intimacy with Him. We cannot win the battle on our own, we need to stay connected to God through prayer.

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." - Colossians 4:2

God doesn't want long, empty prayers. He wants specific prayers, prayed with faith, in Jesus' name.

You can pray in your room. You can pray with your church family. But whatever you do, never stop praying.

Because prayer is not just an event. It's a lifestyle.

Today, we are reminded that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and spiritual wickedness. That is why putting on the whole armor of God is not optional, it is necessary. It is the only way for us to be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. We cannot win the battle on our own, we need to be fully equipped in Christ.

"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace." - Ephesians 6:13-15 NKJV

What a full and blessed first Sunday of the month! As we celebrate our Communion Sunday, we were reminded of Christโ€™s sacrifice this first Sunday of October.

Despite the power interruption, nothing stopped us from worshipping โ€” the service continued with so much joy. After the service, we had a salo-salo potluck to celebrate the graduation of our Post Encounter students. Congratulations to all graduates!

Yesterday, Pastor Ronnie reminded us that abiding in Jesus is not optional, it is necessary. It is the only pathway to authentic growth, and it enables us to produce fruit that has eternal worth. Apart from Him, we can do nothing, but when we remain in Him, we bear much fruit.

Scripture: Matthew 7:24-27

Hearing and doing God's Word today prepares us for tomorrow's trials.

Today Pastor Ronnie reminded us, that trials are not there to break us, but to test, refine, and strengthen us by God.
Preparation is putting things in order, being equipped and trained for His purpose.

May we remain fruitful (John 15:2) and watchful for His imminent return (Mat. 24:42, 1 Thes. 5:2). Let us live holy and godly lives as we wait for His promise - a world filled with His righteousness. (2 Peter 3:11,13)
