The Barkada Kontra Droga of Barobo National High School was proudly represented by Mr. Jun Mark A. Petallar, BKD Teacher-Adviser, and Ryan Rose T. Tumala, BKD Vice President, during the 1st Quarter CY 2026 MPOC & MADAC Meeting held on March 31, 2026 at Kvenz Place.

During the meeting, they shared BKD’s accomplishments for the quarter, highlighting the different activities and efforts of the organization in promoting a drug-free and responsible youth community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rachel Methuselah R. Cumahig, School Principal, for her constant guidance and support. We are also grateful to Hon. Mayor Ronito L. Martizano and everyone present for the opportunity to represent our school and be part of this meaningful collaboration.

This experience reflects BKD BNHS’s continued commitment to serve, lead, and work hand in hand with the community.

💧 𝐁𝐊𝐃 𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 | 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) of Barobo National High School participated in the World Water Day 2026 celebration held on March 22, 2026 at Bogac Cold Spring.

During the program, the activity proceeded with the Opening Prayer, followed by the Rationale delivered by Forester Danilo Joseph A. Galigao, MENRO-Designate, and the Message from Hon. Nancy P. Silva, SB Chair on Tourism, emphasizing the importance of protecting water resources and strengthening environmental awareness among the youth.

Through this participation, BKD continues to support initiatives that promote not only a drug-free lifestyle but also environmental responsibility and community involvement.

Let’s work together in preserving our water and protecting our future.

📌 𝐁𝐊𝐃 𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 | 𝐘𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐩 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 & 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) of Barobo National High School proudly highlights the participation of its officers in the Roll Out Training on Yakap Bayan Program & Aftercare Modules conducted by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Barobo. The activity was held on March 3–6, 2026 at Veil’s Place & Restaurant, Britania, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.

Representing BKD BNHS in the said training were Thyra B. Roxas, BKD President, and Ryan Rose Tumala, BKD Secretary, who actively engaged in discussions and learning sessions that focused on strengthening community-based programs and supporting initiatives that promote a drug-free and responsible youth community. The training provided valuable insights that will help further improve BKD’s advocacy and leadership in promoting awareness and positive involvement among students and the community.

On the final day of the activity, participants were also given the opportunity to join an island hopping experience around the beautiful Britania Islands, allowing them to build camaraderie with fellow participants while appreciating the natural beauty of Surigao del Sur after the meaningful training sessions.

Through participation in activities like this, BKD BNHS continues to strengthen its commitment to youth leadership, community partnership, and the shared goal of promoting a safer and drug-free environment for everyone.

🎉 𝐁𝐊𝐃 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 | 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

During the Pasigarbo 2026 – Barobo National High School Foundation Day held on March 5–6, 2026, the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) BNHS proudly initiated a booth showcasing the organization’s accomplishment reports throughout the school year.

The booth served as a platform to highlight BKD’s activities, advocacies, and initiatives in promoting a drug-free and values-driven youth community. Students and visitors were also able to enjoy a refreshing scramble for only ₱10, making the booth both informative and fun for everyone.

Through this initiative, BKD continues to share its mission, celebrate its achievements, and engage the BNHS community during the school’s foundation celebration.
